If you have to see one of these problems deteriorate in the next AC game, what would you be okay with the most? They include, but not limited to:

- Cranky Villagers/Snooty Villagers/Resetti/Phyllis becoming meaner (or nicer if you like the bad guys)
- PWP gathering becoming more frustrating due to animals being more likely to ask useless questions
- More restrictions to T&T Emporium unlocks
- Nookling Stores staying open shorter
- Sea basses becoming more common in proportion
- Rare beetles becoming more sensitive
- Event items becoming harder to obtain (such as Snowman Series require more perfection)
- Housing debts to go up
- Free animal plotting problem remains unsolved
- More rigged mechanics (such as the luck system in ACNL)
- Grass deterioration to go back to City Folk's system

If I had to choose which problem I'll deal with most, it would have to be the sea basses. ACNL may be the best Animal Crossing game, but it had several problems that were considered to be the worst problems with Animal Crossing. I don't want to catch another sea bass, but I would rather deal with them since that's not as bad as the rest I listed. Next in line would be housing debts to increase since it increases the longevity of the game.

I'd hands down pick more debt, as long as there's money making opportunity like there is in ACNL. Every mortgage was just a trip or two to the island. Go twice, spend two 25 minute sessions hunting beetles and sharks, sell, deposit in the bank, talk to Tom the next day, pay off my mortgage, go back out at night. It only took me like a week to pay off my second character's house. Which compared to the old AC, that's a miracle. There's a reason you got a shiny plaza statue of yourself if you paid off your mortgage in the original.

A lot of these don't bother and wouldn't bother me if they increased/continue to be part of the game. Sea basses don't bother me, I know what their shadow looks like. More sensitive beetles would just mean getting more practice and learning how to catch them, so not really that bad. I don't pay attention to the luck system, and you can set the clock so the Nook stores align with your play time, even if you're against time traveling. If you only can play at a certain time, set the clock back a few hours and leave it there. That's what I did when I used to work overnights before I said eh, time traveling is fine. There's whole videos dedicated to the rude responses the animals used to give you in the original. Resetti would scream at you for like 15 minutes and you'd be sat there, unable to move, made to say you're sorry 12.5 times. Villagers would tell you that they hope you never find happiness if you denied their requests. So, I've already been through that, it would almost be nostalgic. PWP gatherings don't bother me and if they had questions, I think that would be kind of cute.

The only thing on this list that I would seriously consider being a major problem if it was made worse, is event items being harder to obtain, like the snowman series as you mentioned. That would be utterly exhausting. The free animal plotting needs to stop for those who don't want them to be able to. Like I understand some people love that feeling of waking up and seeing a new villager is moving in and running around to find their plot and see who it is, so let there be an option, a choice to pick that you want them to be able to plot where ever. Maybe being able to put up plots of land for "sale" or something and locking off the rest. I don't know. But it would be really frustrating to have so many people utilize paths just for the game devs to be like "this clearly isn't important". Also make grass seed or something for deterioration.

For the love of everything, make grass seed.

I would personally choose more house debt. Out of everything most of them bothered me (especially the grass deterioration one) and I think the house debt would probably entertain me with the game longer. More to work for, the more I'll be into the game.

Blathers blathering more about your donations. I miss that stuff, despite how annoying it got after the 20th time, lol.

Yeah, definitely more house debts. I wish you could upgrade the 2nd floor like you can with the first floor. I'd get into more debt for 3 more rooms. Oh, and more storage!

This is going off topic, but I'd love to see an attic in the next game. It's a small room you could use for storage unit items like chests or boxes, haha.

"PWP gatherings becoming more frustrating"

wait... they're frustrating already?? and personally, i would find the animals asking 'useless' questions cute, so i think i'd choose that lol.

I can't choose.

I despise all of those thing's equally.

Maybe house debt, as bells are easy to make.

house debt going up. Hahaha... (my current home in ACNL has been two rooms for almost 2 months, I'm just way too lazy to go bug catching on the island)

Definitely bring back the Cranky/Snooty characters' sassiness/grumpiness! I didn't know my starting Snooty was Snooty because she was like never mean. I literally thought she was Normal. I'm sick of the Snooties being super nice and complimentary, and the Crankies talking to me about sports. What's the point of them if they're just going to be duplicates of the other personalities?

Probably house debt. At least it's over once you finally pay it off.

In your case they'd be even nicer than in New Leaf since you prefer them meaner.

I would honestly love to see something done about bell making, I feel like bells are too easy to make and would prefer a bit more of a challenge!

I wouldn't mind quick grass deterioration either, just makes it easier for me to make natural paths aha

probably grass deterioration going back to accf’s system since i really like natural paths and it would be easier to create them

Easily higher debts, if everything else remained the same the next literation then I wouldn't mind at all.

As for Crankies/Snooties/Phyllis, I would prefer for them to start out rude and aggravating at first but then overtime as the friendship increases they will become nicer and nicer similarly to how Labelle acts towards you in New Leaf.

One thing that would really bother me is when the cranky and snooty villagers would become
even nicer as they already are in New Leaf. Compare of how they acted back in the older AC
games, it's kinda a shame why they have now to throw you their kindness right into your face
and don't care about anything at all. I liked it more when they were mean to you and when it
was harder to become friends with them, as you had kinda challenge then. Now you only have
to talk to them once and they love you forever. Phyllis was also much meaner in the older games,
that's what made her character. And Resetti? It's like that guy doesn't even exist in New Leaf as
long as you don't build the Reset Surveillance Center. If they now gonna be even nicer in the new
AC main game, I would be really disappointed.

Otherwise, the other things from the list wouldn't bother me so much.

Higher debts. I always thought they should be more anyway. It seems like it's too easy to pay off your loans. It would seem like more of an accomplishment if they were harder to pay.

Why is everyone so happy about house debts? Am I just playing in the world's poorest village or are you guys n gals just that much better at earning Bells? House debts drive me crazy, especially since I want to make a themed village with fully expanded houses. It's going to be a nightmare... As for what I'd be able to tolerate, I'd have to say Event Items becoming more difficult to obtain. It wouldn't really bother me since I hardly ever participate in events, unless it's Halloween or New Year's, buuuut, then again, I'm having enough trouble already with getting Jack to cough up more creepy skeletons for my in-house graveyard... aside from events I'd go with rare beetles being more sensitive, since bug catching isn't a big part of my play experience. Sea bass are downright evil! You have no idea how long I've wandered up and down the shore of my beach looking for the tell-tale fin of a shark only for those fishy money-makers to be crowded out by the shadows of bass. Has anyone seen that YouTube video where the guy tells Isabelle to make sea bass illegal? His attitude describes my struggles perfectly.

Sounds to me like you need to head to the Island to make money. If you're not utilizing your island then you're never going to pay off your loans. There are plenty of youtube video tutorials on how and when to beetle farm for the most success and I'm sure there's lots of great information here. Seriously, I paid off my second character's house in literally a week by going to the island 2-3 times a night for a total of 1 hour a night max. I'd just turn on my favorite bops and farm beetles. I actually kind of miss it sometimes, it's kinda peaceful and routine once you get the hang of it. That's why no one cares about their house loans in this game, because it's so easy to make 1 million a night in an hour or two.

Wow. Okay that sounds surprisingly easy. One problem and one I probably should have mentioned before: I have a limit on the time I spend on electronics. My parents are pretty strict about this, and I LOATHE timetravelling so being able to farm beetles at night is a bit of a challenge. Also I absolutely suck at bug catching, which is why I don't do it too often. Shark fishing is easier for me, but those fins are so rare, and sometimes i don't pull the line in quick enough and I lose a precious fish. This always happens with me when playing games: I suck at collecting, I suck at combat (especially PvP) and I suck at crafting, and yet, I still do it. Why do I torture myself?

Another option to make bells are selling perfect fruits. Make a area in your town and plant lots
of perfect fruit trees. When they are ready to be harvest, collect them all and sell them. A little
tip: If you sell them in another town, you can get more bells. After a while, you can make a good
amount of bells out of it.
