What bad thing would you rather see in the next Animal Crossing game?

probably grass deterioration going back to accf’s system since i really like natural paths and it would be easier to create them

Maybe in the next game they should add water use limits to let you decide how severe you want it. Have it an option in the ordinances section. I do think that you should be able to have more than one ordinance next game.

Limit water use = City Folk severity (gives 20,000 bells due to saving money)
Normal restrictions = New Leaf severity
No restrictions = None at all (costs 20,000 bells)

I would rather spend 20,000 Bells if that were the case.

I added the cost to make it a bit more realistic. It's not that much so I wouldn't see it being a problem.

Makes perfect sense.

And I agree on having more than one ordinance active at once. Maybe two or three at the maximum. As long as you don't have both Early Bird and Night Owl ordinances active at once.

I think there should be categories. You could pick one water use ordinance and then a night owl ordinance. Maybe things like beautiful or wealthy would be under "special" ordinances. Then laws for multiplayer that prevent visitors from destroying your town.

"PWP gatherings becoming more frustrating"

wait... they're frustrating already??.

Yeah my friends are constantly talking about how they need a certain villager to give them a PWP but they only say useless stuff and don't ever ping them for PWPs.

Personally I wouldn't care either way since I don't "hunt" for PWPs like most people do.

Oooooh, I think both me and Hopeless Opus read that bullet incorrectly. It makes way more sense now. I thought OP was talking about the little gathering you have when you complete a PWP. I was like... but... it only takes like a minute? That's why I was like, I'd actually be okay if they asked the mayor questions. I didn't realize OP meant that the villagers would be even less likely to suggest a PWP.

In that case, that would be pretty unfortunate. I don't really farm for them hardcore, but I'd like it if their suggestion rate was maybe a tad higher.

My opinion is none of the above. What would freak me out is if they made rv amiibo cards for all of the other characters and I'd want all of them just for the cool furniture.

Blathers Blathering - I honestly don't care as I may pay more time working on the town rather than working on the museum. Although I do need them to sell a magnifying glass that allows me to assess my fossils after I have completed the fossil collection. I hate having to take amother trip to Main Street just for that.

Less amiibo support when it comes to moving in villagers (at the very least). I know it became extremely convenient now and it's going to be harder to ask when amiibos are a thing/somewhat mandatory for every game but I still prefer the traditional way of finding villagers through sheer luck or as a reward for the hard work (ugh tedious work?) of resetting for them. I miss that feeling of excitement when you see a tent and you think of it as like a treasure box waiting to be opened xD I know you can limit yourself not to use amiibo cards but still the thought or value of getting these villagers after the update was greatly diminished.

And when the perfect villager shows up in your campsite, like they did to me a few days ago, AFTER I had just paid a huge amount for her card, my town was full, so WHAT was the point of the campsite? O_o

What are the chances you will have a slot open, IF your perfect villager shows up?

The campsite should work like an amiibo card does, and be able to boot out a villager and invite the campsite villager to move in.

That's probably not gonna happen every time xD It's always going to be your choice if you want to pay a high price in order to get those rare amiibo cards. But I agree on the last part that hopefully on the next game, we could boot out a villager through traditional means after recruiting someone from campsite or inviting them to move from other town or something without having to use a card. To be honest, I always prefer resetting. I find it fun and thrilling than just buying and scanning the card, even if it takes hours. To each to his own, I guess :)

Yes it WILL happen every time, because my town is full!

The campsite is only useful IF you happen to have an open slot, at the exact same time a villager you want is there.

It's a waste.

No, what I meant by ''not gonna happen every time'' is that the chances of a perfect villager showing up like in a campsite when you just bought their card is pretty slim. It's not going to happen every time you buy a card. Well, for the record, I was saying that I wish there'd be a way of getting villagers through other means like a more improved campsite or maybe after fulfilling requests, by achieving something or playing longer on the next AC game instead of just plainly scanning their card. Of course, I like it to be easier to move them out/replace them than waiting for a slot to open.

I think one of the excitement that comes from playing a new mainline AC game is thinking what kind of villager you're going to get as well as the process of obtaining your ''dream villagers''. I'd rather have that than "Okay I will get this card, then this card, and then... Now I have the money to buy all" then call it a day.
