Mine are that It's a good zelda Game, not the best, certainly not the "burn in the pits of Subrosia" thoguhts that I see all over the internet, just alright; a grade B-/C+ if you will.

I think that Trailer drake does a good job at expressing his opinion well.

It's my second favorite behind Wind Waker. And I've played every game in the series sans 4 Swords Adventures.
Also Ghirahim is a b?

I've never played the game, but from the gameplay I've seen, it looks amazing! I'd love to get it some day and play it. The sound track is amazing too.

It is my favorite game! The artwork is incredible. Sure, it has it's flaws (not enough side quests/side characters, upgrade system is strange, Hylian shield not required for some reason, wonky gameplay at times) but it's a beautiful prologue to the series. It really explores the mythology and I love that! Lanayru Desert is breathtaking as well; I cry when I visit it. Crazy to think of civilization BEFORE Hyrule! And that it got lost!

It's just... augh... FANTASTIC! Trust me, when you get into the game Fi is NOT as annoying as everyone paints her out to be. It's the same with Navi and OOT's Water Temple; popular to hate.

I've yet to play this one. Still waiting for my brother to get it. :/

It's not my favorite Zelda game, but I thought it was pretty good. It's at least among the better of the Zelda games.

I liked the artstyle for it the most though. It was all very 'Disney' to me, and I liked that. Sort of a perfect middle ground between Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

Hated the motion controls though. They worked properly for me about 70% of the time, which is 30% less than what I find acceptable for a control scheme. If they worked properly I wouldn't have had an issue, but they didn't.
In comparison, I find Twilight Princess' motion controls great. WHAT!? BUT THEY WERE ****TY AND UNNECESSARY!! Exactly, they were, which meant I got from the start to the end of TP without any issues because it never required me to do some specific little action that won't work properly because they were ****ty and unnecessary. TP's crappy controls did what controls are supposed to do, they let me play the game without screwing me over. Skyward Sword with it's 'better' controls didn't do that, so they're bad.

I REALLY adored the story, but the motion control mechanic was bad. Especially when you have a crappy old attachable one lke I do.

I love it, my favorite behind MM.

I think the internet just hates it because of the motion controls which I don't really mind, but a classic controller option would have been nice.

I forgot to post this video series that goes in-depth to analyze Skyward Sword. There's 3 videos that are 20ish minutes each, with more on the way.
Here's the first one.

After playing through it and collecting everything in it (still got to do Hero Mode though), I can definitely say that it is closely tied with Wind Waker which is my favorite Zelda (it's hard to choose between the 2).

its one of my favorites tbh. i dont think the motion controls were difficult at all either, which is why most people hate it. it also has my favorite link design in it, which is cool

I think it gets a bad wrap because of the motion controls and Fi being the most annoying sidekick since Navi. That said, I didn't have any issues with the motion controls myself, and I loved the story and how it fits into the lore and begins the reincarnation stuff throughout the series (which is touched on a little more in short manga in the Hyrule Historia). Overall, it's probably one of my favourite Zeldas, though not my absolute favourite.

Never got past the first temple so i don't know lol... I suck at Zelda games don't judge me.

The only one i was able to clear was Twilight Princess... Ooops!

The game has a great artstyle and a good story, but I found the controls to be a bit too finnicky to fully enjoy it. If they ever decide to make an HD version of it, I hope there's an option for non-motion controls.

One of my favorite zelda games. The motion controls didnt suck for me whatsoever. I remember i lost all my data when i was at the first silent realm (creeped me out) and took me a milion tries, then my dad gave his friend a copy of ogre battle 64 on an sd card, poof, there went my skyward sword data. The second time around was much easier. Only took me a few tries on the silent realm. I rarely play in now, but im on the second temple in hero mode c:

I absolutely love it :> I have played through it several times and it's just soO good ;;
I really like almost everything about the game, honestly? The world is great and so much fun to explore and all the temples and stuff were just like reaLLy amazing???
Going back to the game now, I find the controls a bit annoying, but once you get into the game it's really easy to play ^^

Well, I didn't quite like the models for Zelda and Link (still don't) because they looked too dolly for me, but the game overall is great!
I mean, the designs themselves weren't bad, but I would liked them a bit more... hum... human? Real? Not-so-painted-up? I get that's the style of the game (and I like it) but it simply doesn't look that good in the two of them for some reason.

I got this game a while ago but I didn't get very far because I didn't like that Link got tired when he ran and the motion controls were weird. I decided to try it again after playing Hyrule Warriors because I wanted to see Ghirahim's story. (He is my main character in Hyrule Warriors.) I haven't beaten the game yet, but it is pretty fun so far. The motion controls got easier after the first fight with Ghirahim. I kept dying until I realized the direction you swing the sword is important. Which I found funny because he is totally not trying in that fight. lol Also Fun Island is a great way to get easy rupees. ;)

I really, really like it when it first came out recently however I went and took a stride through it and I realized something: This game is boring. The controls turn every fight into a mini puzzle, no exploration is to be had, the intro sequence takes way to long which TP also had this issue. The graphics are muddy as well, my favorite things about this game is that it has my favorite story in the Zelda franchise and some of my favorite music in the Zelda franchise. When I first heard Ballad of the Goddess I listened to it on repeat so often.
