What are your personal rules for yourself in ACNL and why?

No time travelling. I'm bad at obeying that one, but I always stop when I get fed up of it. It just doesn't seem worth it enough, especially since I lost a villager I like trying to kick others out. I always give things to the museum first though, I can get bells other ways.

1.) Don't TT in my main towns. That's what the cycling town is for.
2.) Don't run around town.
3.) Talk to every villager every day.
4.) Refuse bug and fish requests so they don't clutter their houses up.
5.) Don't miss major events. (This sometimes mean I don't get to do much in game since they're on major holidays.)

I try to play once a day even if just for a few minutes. Also I never time travel forward, just back (rarely). I only time travel back a day or two if there was an event in my town like a holiday or something, but I was busy at the time of the event. I'm an adult with 2 jobs so it's very hard for me to attend every event in Animal Crossing at the intended time.

i have no rules and i do what i want
on wifi, i do have some. no running unless it's on paths, pls no stealing, don't talk to villagers (why do people have to, unless signatures???), don't dig holes, chop trees....etc. normal etiquette at least i think so
