What are your "I will find this when I'm not looking for it" moments

I caught a hammer head shark on my second day of the game! (Sth hem) I definitely wasn't expecting to catch any sharks until much later in the game since I had a lot of trouble trying to find and catch them in NL

I found Raymond while island hopping in my second town on the 2nd ticket, and I wasn't even looking for him

One day I thought it would be cool if I had Apollo as a second cranky, but he is one of the few amiibo cards I don’t have. The next day I was on mystery islands searching for Judy and he popped up. I thought for a few minutes then moved him in.

i was actively hunting for tarantula island and then realized that after over 100 NMT i was not gonna find it. then i told myself that i’m scared of tarantulas anyway and finding tarantula island in the dead of night would probably make me cry so with that i used my last ticket and ended on tarantula island lol

i made bank but i was shaking the whole time :,)

Don't worry I wanted to go tarantula hunting aswell but fun fact about me:
In NL i was scared of the cockroaches so the beautiful town ordinance was ALWAYS on. The only time it wasn't was when I decided to gold rose breed, while gold rose breeding I NEVER went into my house.

Another fact: I'm scared of spiders, when I see a tarantula in game I get startled. When I say scared of spiders I mean before getting into the shower I spray each corner with water to make sure there are no spiders.

Actually, had one of these moments a couple days ago. I had a move out on my island, and I really wanted to find Audie or Wolfgang and the same day an Audie auction popped up and they were doing in-game Bells only. Highest bid was 3.5M Bells and unfortunately I was like 700K Bells short. They said they'd keep an eye out if another auction popped up and literally 10 minutes later a giveaway for Audie popped up and it was first come first serve.

Audie is now on my island, lol.

Honestly, I really dislike trading with NMT because they're so difficult for me to collect in mass due to the fact I can only really play off-and-on for 3 to 4 hours a day, and I don't really wanna put most of my time to grinding out Nook Miles. Seeing Audie go to an auction with strictly Bells and items? Almost felt foreign, and I wasn't expecting to see another auction for her for Bells again.

The coelacanth. I spent like 30 bait and only seabass and smaller shadows. When I was collecting shells, I saw a large shadow and toss it. It was the coelacanth.
