I'm gonna flip this island upside down it shall be a completely new island... pretty excited to get terraforming

I want to create an island that makes people's jaw drop. I've never put this amount of effort into animal crossing before, so it definitely feels great.

I want to make an island with a cottagecore aesthetic, but i want to try to also leave my island as natural as possible, with as little terraforming (aside from paths) as possible. mostly because i'm terrible at terraforming and don't want to ruin my island lol

i just want an island that looks cozy and nice !! so far ive been able to make a decent museum and camp area :D the beach is also coming along nice!! i cant wait for my playground stuff to arrive in the mail so i can work on that next :)

I want an island that feels like home to me. Someplace that, if I were dropped into the game, I'd be comfortable and want to stay a while.

It might not be the most amazing-looking island, but it will be mine.

I want a nature island that looks like I didn't put a lot of customization into it but I really did.

I'm pretty much the opposite, I decided to terraform alongside the island's inital layout. I only transformed the river a little bit, it still needs some tweaking to look the best it can look.

Right now I have all my villagers in the same row, but I plan to move every second one when I have a better idea for my layout. I already left some space in front of them so that I can decorate them properly.

I'm super excited for the bushes returning, they'll definitely be part of my landscaping.

Just going with something I know makes me happy. I find myself doing subtle tweaks here and there. Once I get my inclines, bridges, and homes situated appropriately, I'll be a ton more comfortable. I'd happy to drop 10k NMTs for a relocation permit. I don't TT, and waiting a day between builds/moves/demos is painful.

Long term? Get a villager’s pic then send them packing. Rinse and repeat. Only keeping Camofrog, Savannah, and Rocco as permanent islanders.

I want to make my island something I'm proud of and something I love to see each day. I've always felt hesitant about my creativity in games like Minecraft and Dragon Quest Builders 2 but for some reason, Animal Crossing makes me so excited to build new areas and place down items. I'm so happy with how my island looks and I'm glad I found a game where I could really nurture my creativity.

My goal is to 100% the museum. I've always been a completionist. I've already 100% the fossils and I've got all the bugs and fish for April already. I don't time travel or visit Southern Hemisphere Islands, so it's slow going, but I like it.

Second goal is to get the photos of all my villagers. This time around, it's been harder for me to do? I don't enjoy talking to the villagers as much as I used to. In NL and WW, I loved running errands for them, but there aren't as many in this game, and the dialogue is so repetitive.

Get villager photos for everyone that has lived on my island. I didn't get Shep's, but he moved to my husband's island! So I can move him back in whenever he wants to move.

Nothing I'm doing is groundbreaking, but I've noticed my style seems to be pretty different from most islands I've seen. Bottom half is completely flat with an industrial/seaside city vibe (no roads accessible by car, so relying on the brick path mostly).

Then behind my residential services building which is perfectly centered in my island, I will have the hills. Villagers are spread out and I'm trying to decide if I want my house to be on a small farm since the rumors about growing food might be true, or if I'd prefer being on a hilltop.

i want to be proud of my island. with new leaf, i had no clue what i was doing and at the end of it all, it looked like a barren mess. but i feel a lot more hopeful about my island than i did my town and so i’ve already been more successful this time around aha

Go be a happy place for as long as Nintendo will support this game and I‘m too old to play :)
