I enjoy the more savannah themed ones like elephants, rhinos and alligators, although I enjoy eagles as well.

I chose the obvious cats, dogs, koalas and squirrels for their cuteness, among anteaters, birds/ostriches, deers, sheep and octopuses for their designs.

Since I didn't have to select only one species, I'd say that my AC:NL current favorites are the bear cubs, cats, deer, eagles, frogs, goats, hamsters, kangaroos (males only), koalas, monkeys, ostriches, penguins, rabbits, sheep, squirrels, and wolves.
