This! It's always so savage and catty. I always run right over to listen when I see Judy rolling up to Raymond. My personal favorite was Mint and Eugene when I first started my island- they were so petty and kind of mean sometimes but neither of them ever got mad about it!
normal x normal interactions are usually always really cute, and smug x lazy are pretty entertaining too. though i feel like on my island the same villagers talk to eachother and some villagers just flat out don't talk to anyone. i'd really love to see a snooty x lazy interaction on my island at some point.
If I want some adorable wholesomeness, the peppy/lazy exchanges are always too cute for this world. There was one day where Cranston had been listening to Piper sing in the plaza and then literally the next day they had a conversation where Cranston wrote Piper a letter about how good her singing was<3 TOO CUTE!!!!!!
However, if I want something a bit more sarcastic, tense, or eyeroll inducing, any interaction with a smug usually brings out the inner cattiness in most of my villagers. Phoebe and Tex are probs the only two villagers, as of now, that have legit fought and got mad at each other and I was living for it
I felt so at home with the lazy/lazy conversation my rep was in on; the one where they're deciding what food to get, and when one of them asks to switch with the rep when all there's left to do is the eating.
I do love cranky now because I felt like they said stuff that makes me felt like talking to a nice caring uncle or someone older and kind it just really nice or uchi also quite funny and nice as well
I really like the Cranky and Snooty interactions. Orginally I did not like the Lazy interactions as they talked about eating and bugs all the time, but over time, I got used to it, and started laughing more at the funny dialougue, so I would say I also like the Lazy interactions too.
Lazy/Cranky, conversations between Hopper and Alfonso used to make me giggle. Right now they're also becoming a bit annoying since it's always the cranky saying something sensible and the lazy totally misinterpreting it so they don't have to behave responsibly, it's becoming predictable and a bad influence, but it's still kinda funny that they made the lazies so clueless.
I feel like my previous villagers have had some really harsh interactions with each other, often one of them would walk away crying.. and that was awful to watch tbh. But recently I watched Alfonso and Fauna talk about turning into butterflies and Fauna said she'd keep flowers in her house for him during winter so he stayed warm!! It was the cutest thing I've ever seen!
I absolutely love cranky interactions. I love their secret hobbies like reading and loving trees and flowers, and I love how they interact with you like they're you're dad or grandpa. Always looking out for you "be careful you don't slip and fall" I love it
I love them with peppy x cranky because they are like boomers/ old people not knowing anything its very cute tbh
I've always loved the Lazy villagers in the past games, however I've really shifted towards Jocks in NH! I started with Scoot and his house is close to mine so naturally I see him a bunch and this weird little green duck being so ecstatic to just be workout buddies warms my heart and it motivates me
one of my favourites lately was an uchi/cranky conversation between fuchsia and fang, which basically just consisted of them shouting outlandish insults at each other as an expression of friendship. watching all the other types cringe and recoil from kyle's dialogue is always entertaining too
I just love interacting with the lazies and normals uwu. I think my favorite neighbors I’ve seen interacting were Erik and Fauna. Sometimes they wave to each other randomly and IT’S SO CUTE.
My favorite conversations are between Cranky with any other villager type. I like that they act really old and usually end up confused when they talk to peppy villagers XD. At the same time I wish they would actually act "Cranky", lashing out at other villagers and being rude to anyone for anything. I do like when villagers tell you when they heard x thing about you ^_^
I really like peppies and uchis/snootys/crankies. The differences in the personalities is so funny to me. I was laughing so hard at a conversation between Peanut and Fuchsia the other day. They were going at it.
Jock and Peppy gave me the most memorable interaction. Anabelle was saying she'd get a nice new cheerleading outfit to cheer Leonardo on for whatever sport he was talking about then Leonardo said something like "I won't be able to focus on the match then, will I?" so I began shipping them.
