Christmas changes for me every year because I alternate spending Christmas Eve vs Christmas Day with my mom and my dad. This year I'm with my dad, and this is the first year that we're the ones hosting dinner. So we're going to spend the day cleaning and cooking until my grandparents and my aunt's family gets here when we'll have dinner, an awkward white elephant game, and open presents from Grandma (which my dad technically bought so I already know what I'm getting from her ^-^)
We don't really do anything on Christmas Eve.. But we clean the house, and wrap the presents in time for my relatives to arrive and open presents Christmas night.
Working. I used to spend it at my grandma's, but we can't do that anymore. I work a morning shift, and my mom works a night shift, so we won't be seeing each other. I'm thinking I'm going to go home, bake, and visit some family with fresh cookies. Oh, and finish wrapping presents.
We have a big family so every year we go to a family member's house and celebrate it with everyone. I wish everyone would stop asking about my future at the parties though. I really like to take a break from talking about that stuff.
myself, my parents and whatever of my siblings are in the country go for afternoon tea in the shelbourne hotel (it's the one all the celebrities stay at lol) every christmas eve and sometimes i go to see my horses
i spend the day watching christmas specials , then go to my grandma's with that whole side of the family and eat tamales and menudo while we wait until 12 to open the presents we give each other .
I ****ing hate chili and we don't really do anything my dad just freaks out with my brother and he's like Christmas is tomorrow and I have to go to bed early and **** and I cringe
Here between the 19th and 24th we bring a pinata with 7 beaks and we put inside either candy or fruit
The meaning of this is when you break one of the beaks it means you are getting free of a sin (since the 7 beaks represent the 7 sins) and when the whole beaks are broken and the pinata breaks you get glory and happiness Now i see why im always with wrath :v
Christmas eve, we go to church, then for dinner go to my dad's mom's house and open those presents with her, then Christmas day, go to my other grandma's house and see the whole family and do presents with them. woooooo
We (my mum, sister and I; my sister and I aren't really religious, though) usually go to midnight mass, which was at about 5pm at our old church, so we'd be out by 9pm. But we've moved and our new church is hardcore and actually do it at midnight, so we're going tomorrow morning instead.
For Christmas we always go to my stepmoms grandmas house and we spend time with her family for a bit and then we go to my grandmas house and eat tamales and all that other good stuff and at midnight we sing for Jesus day and then we will just open presents!!
Merry Christmas Every1!!!
My family goes to the cemetery and looks at the ice candles that were put on the graves, then we go home and have appitizers for dinner then we watch the Christmas carol in black and white!
