I just thought about making a thread to see what every bodies biggest pet peeves are!

My biggest pet peeve is hearing people chewing or like munching and making sounds whilst eating!

That's my biggest one as well! I get so frustrated hearing people eat, so I always eat alone!

people thinking snus/snuff is more acceptable to use than cigs and other smokes.

Bruh, it's not attractive, your face is gonna look like some old fairy tale troll, and it does as much damage to your body.

My biggest one right now is when people are getting off the bus but they decide not to get their transport card out until the last minute, for which they then rummage around in their bag for 30 seconds and hold everyone up. I get that people sometimes forget, but damn it seems to happen almost everyday and then I'm late for school.

Also people who play music out loud in public, no one really wants to hear that.

I commute to work by train and I hate it when people a) watch/listen videos or things on their phone or tablet without earphones (how inconsiderate), pick their nose (I switch seats as I can't bear to have this in my sight) or push you away to get on the train first when there's plenty of room for everyone to sit anyway.

Other than that, I try not to be irritated by too many things in life. But commuting.. it's just irritating on its own already so it's hard not to notice these things ;)

yes this happens so much especially on trains and busses and it's always a bunch of teens that think they're so cool with their music

I hate when people yawn/cough/sneeze exaggeratedly loudly. Fair enough we can't really control these things but I shouldn't be able to hear you from the next room over :x

Y'alls have stated some very relateable peeves, many of which I had experienced in the break room at work. Like, I don't wanna hear your foreign soap opera, but on some earbuds jeez.

There are people at work who will chew with their mouth open and to drives me UP THE WALLS. It's so digesting, rude and they make so much noise with it. Like damn you really gotta make so much smacking noises?

Another one is when people point out my acne. It's rude in it themselves, but then they wanna tell ME, an adult, how to take better care of myself. It really isn't worth the time and effort telling customers (if one of my coworkers went there I'd tell them straight up) so I just nod and smile, while inside I'm burning. It sounds like it really shouldn't be a peeve, but its happened so often to me, it seems like more while working then I ever have gotten in school. It's just that people say such shallow remarks about acne and most of them have no idea what they're talking about.

I hate people chewing loudly as well, and I really hate when people don't wash their hands after using the washroom or sneezing into their hands. Literally every time I go to the washroom, I see someone come out of a stall and leave without washing their hands, and I'm like....ok I won't be touching anything you touch

Mostly just general untidy and uncourteous mannerisms.

One other specific thing I have found that bothers me is people who pet their pets and or let their pets roam freely on food preparing areas, and then they make food.

People eating food obnoxiously. Especially gum. I sit beside a girl who does it all the time, and I want to punch her for doing so.

OMG I have the same thing. I have contemplated making signs for our toilets at work that say "ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS PLEASE" because it disgusts me so much! Thinking some people touch everything at work with unwashed hands after going to the toilet.. Ew. Just ew.

When people are on their phones in public. Come on... Why not focus on one thing at a time and not while they're walking? Especially in public transit, I see like literally three people in the same row of seats, on their phones. I observe what's around me and it irks me every time. I know, everyone uses them for a different purpose (such as reading an ebook), but don't you already have enough time at home to do so? What I'm saying here is, we're glued too much by our habits and we just need to see the world around us. Thank goodness I don't understand so much of the social media craze.

Groups who take up the entire sidewalk/hallway, yet walk at seemingly the slowest pace possible. Bonus points if they call you rude after you politely ask them to move out of the way.

To add onto this:

-When people use their phones at school, during class, WHILE the teacher/professor is talking
-When people use their phones at a movie theater, even though there’s ACTUAL ADS IN THE MOVIE THEATER that say not to (seeing this become more common lately)
-When people use their phones while driving (Please don’t. What’s more important? Getting that last text message out or your life?)

Other than those, another big one of mine is when people are late to their appointments at an office and therefore hold everyone else up who was hoping to get in for an appointment.

Oh my god, yes, this! I like to try and get some exercise and de-stress at work by walking on my breaks. Lots of other people do the same thing, but there are limited places to walk, even outside. The courteous thing to do when someone comes up behind you walking faster than you is to move to one side and let them pass. But I've seen single people, often on their phones, weaving from side to side blocking me no matter which way I try to go around. And if they have earbuds in, they don't even hear me saying, "Excuse me."

Another pet peeve is not keeping the public restrooms clean. If you want to hover, I understand, but can you at least wipe up the splatter after you're done. Sometimes it doesn't even look like splatter. It looks like they went directly on the seat. And my workplace is really bad about women leaving blood behind. That is the ultimate in disgusting!

Also, I can't stand it when people ruin a movie for others. Talking, kicking seats, being on their phone, and just generally obnoxious behavior. I have literally seen people on opening night turn their backs to the screen and hold a conversation with the people behind them through the entire movie. I paid a lot of money for my tickets and I don't get to go out to the movies often. I'd like to enjoy it.

Finally, people who let their dogs roam around off-leash in a populated area. Their dogs come running up to us when I'm walking my dog and their owner just smiles and cheerfully yells, "It's ok. He/she is friendly." Well, my dog isn't. My dog, who is properly leashed and under control, is terrified of other dogs and may potentially bite if he feels cornered. So I have to scramble to put myself between them or pick my dog up so that he doesn't do something that could get him in trouble, even though in my opinion it's the other person's fault.

-Being interrupted/talked over in conversation will always be my number one pet peeve.. I can't believe how many people don't realize or care how incredibly rude it is ? Like you reeeeeally couldn't wait to let someone else at least finish their sentence before you broke in? Lol

-Getting random health advice from people when I don't ask for it.

-Know-it-all-ism (yeah that's not a word haha). We've recently hired a new guy in maintenance who has a fairly average "likable" character in almost every way but to me he's completely intolerable just because he has this trait.

-When people don't pour out their coffee/juice bottle/whatever before they put it in the garbage like seriously what is wrong with you

OMG and this, I can't stand this either. x-x
