What are you favorite comedians?

um arin hanson and dan avidan LOL

i think in episodes of game grumps i recall them both mentioning they do stand up? maaaybe it was just arin. or neither. but either way they?re pretty darn funny. ive been laughing with them since i was 12 and now im 18 and still laughing especially with the power hours

Rhett and Link from Good Mythical Morning are definitely up there. I also love the comedians on CollegeHumor, so I was hyped beyond belief when I found out Adam Conover was coming to my college in October 2019. He was so funny and I was absolutely starstruck. That was definitely a night I won't forget.

i love love love john mulaney and can't count how many times i've watched his netflix specials. i also love hasan minhaj's show patriot act.

They did a lot of comedy workshops so i believe they are stand up comedians. My partner and I are fans :)

Rhett and Link!! man i've loved them for years. I remember their show where they made commercials for small business owners. It was all i would watch in HS

Did you watch kid gorgeous? :)

Does Tim Allen count? I love his humor.

I also enjoy rewatching Carol Burnett comedy skits. Those were excellent!

My all-time favorite comedian is George Carlin, but I also like Rodney Dangerfield - and from time to time, some of Dave Chappell, Chris Rock, Conan O'Brien, Jerry Seinfeld's (and maybe Greg Geraldo's) comedy. I think most comedians tend to be repetitive though.

I'd say I have a really good sense of humor but I never seem to find standup or nowaday comedy funny. Ive been looking for someone to watch/listen to but it's been a real struggle.

Thanks for this thread btw, lots of research material.

Congrats on being funny. That must be nice.
I’m so hard to make laugh, not on purpose I love to laugh but a lot of comedy is racial, gender, or shock value comedy which is so unbelievably cringy to me. I feel like when people aren’t that funny, they need to use whatever they can think of, offensive or not because they don’t really have the luxury of pick and choosing what they want to to put out into the world or the affect they want to have. They take what they can muster up. Actual comedically gifted people are hardly ever punching down.

Above all else I recommend Eric Andre!! Watch his hot ones interview. I’m begging you. After you do whenever that is come back here and tell me if you laughed because we anything alike you will love him.

I LOVE Ali Wong. I?ve never been much of a comedian person but the thumbnail on Netflix is so interesting that I had to click it. I?m hoping to catch her the next time her tickets are available. (Since they sell out so fast!)
