What are the chances of a blue rose growing?

What are the chances of a blue rose growing because I know they're super super hard to get.And what combo of flowers would work best to create a blue rose?

It's very, very low. The best combo is blue x blue. You can buy two blues for maybe 60-100k on the Re-Tail sub, or 10-15 TBT.

Blue Roses are very difficult to grow yourself and require an extra bit of attention. The easiest method is to first create two Hybrid Red Roses. A Hybrid Red Rose is spawned from either 1) An Orange and White rose 2) An Orange and Purple rose 3) a Red and Purple rose.

You can breed two Hybrid Red Roses, or a Hybrid Red Rose and an Orange Rose for a chance of spawning a blue rose. You can also purchase a pair of Blue Roses from someone else on the Re-Tail forum!

If this helps, I could give you one or 2 for free. I rarely play acnl anymore so I'd want someone to have use of it. They have such a low probability to spawn.

I have the Japanese guide, and after following it, got blue roses in about a month's time- give or take, it was between 3 to 4 weeks total, and produced a LOT of extra flowers I sold at Re-Tail. The hybrid reds were the ones that give blue. Here's what I followed:
Step 1:
Red and yellow- orange
White and white- purple
Step 2:
Purple and orange- red*
Red* and red*- blue

That was it, I got blue after those two reds were used, so it does work, and explains why so many Japanese players were able to grow them, if you time travel, you'll easily speed this process up, but will still take a couple weeks game time to grow the necessary types.
