My Reading teacher is all about famous poets. So we read Annabel Lee, The Raven, The Black Cat and a few others.

If you want something a bit more cheerful. Then there's Bear in There by Shel Silverstein
no, if you want to read something cheerful then read this.

The Masque of the Red Death
I've read that too. And, Oh yah very cheerful.

He's a very well known poet. I'm pretty sure that counts.
Well known =/= good

Need proof? Lil' Wayne.

Also, no good teacher would accept a poem from there.
He would If he's a seventh grade teacher. I'm in one of the nicest schools in my state. They hire nothing but the best. He gave us all a sheet of paper at the beginning of the unit. It had SHEL SILVERSTEIN on it.

Maybe because he is well known?

How do you know your teachers are the best of the best and how do you know his/her teacher would accept it.

You assumed that I thought her teacher would accept that. It was only a suggestion.
Did you even read the first post of this topic? If you would have then you would have known she was looking for a poem for school.

That is a poem for school. There is one thing you need to understand. And that is:
12 year olds go differently than someone older. I DID read the first post.

So for english class our homework was to print out a poem that we already liked, or to find a poem that we like. I am not really into poetry so I do not know any good poems. I figured that maybe someone on here may have a couple of good famous poems that I should look at. Sorry but it has to be a poem from a known poet .. not a poem made by you or a friend lol. Just write the title or even post a ]She didn't say it had to be a certain type of poem.

Chill. And this is the only fight I "picked" with you.

It was a joke. It was funny to see you get all worked up over a simple thing.
