So, I'm not much of a gamer. Animal Crossing is just about the only game I play, but I really love it. What games do you play that is similar to Animal Crossing? Something that is a bit of role playing, doesn't require fast reflexes, you have some room to create...

Oh, I should mention, I did try Tomodachi Life. It's good, but after a while, is not as involving as Animal Crossing. Thanks for any suggestions! (Looking to try something new.)

the only games I can think of atm that are similar to acnl are harvest moon and sims... I enjoy playing those, but ACNL will always be my fav :)

Harvest Moon (various of them, but especially Animal Parade, A New Beginning, Tale of Two Towns, and More Friends From Mineral Town), Rune Factory (Tides of Destiny and Rune Factory 4), and I suppose the Sims is kiiiiind of similar in some very small ways, but I enjoy playing those, too. I recently got back into it a couple weeks ago when I bought Sims 3. I hear that Fantasy Life is also pretty similar and I'm looking forward to the US release at the end of this month.

There is a list of games that are similar to Animal Crossing compiled here.

It's nothing like ACNL, other than the fact that you get to create a character to. Represent you, but it fits what you said you were looking for: Fire Emblem Awakening doesn't give you enough creativity to like edit the map, but you can choose classes and skills for your fighters. Since it is an RPG, like Pok?mon Conquest, you have as much time as needed to make your move as it is turn based and on a grid. Like I said, nothing like ACNL, but it gives you what you said you were interested in.

Easily the Rune Factory games. Tried several times to get into Harvest Moon, but Rune Factory felt like a more refined experience. Plus when you grow tired of farming and the same sentences, you can go explore dungeons and raise monsters.
