Were we always able to toggle the Tailor's Ticket(s) On and Off while in the changing room in Ables?

I just noticed right now that we can toggle the Tailor's Ticket(s) On and Off in the changing room in Able Sisters. Like we can choose whether or not we want to use them or not by pressing the Y button while we are in the changing room in Able Sisters... Is this a new feature or was it always there, and I just didn't notice till now?

It has always been there. So you don't use your ticket on some cheap 800 bell items. But there's a point where you have so many bells that it doesn't matter.

Oh okay... so I just have never noticed that before x3 I just always used them up on cheap items, just because I never knew we had the ability to not use them
