WEP code??

Hello!
Where on earth do I find my WEP code?
I need it to connect to my wifi to visit other towns!

My Nintendo ds lite just won’t seem to connect without a WEP code but I have searched and searched for one and still can’t find it.

can somebody please help?

Odds are your router isn't configured to use WEP as it's not considered secure these days. You'd have to change the router settings. If it somehow is using WEP, the password is probably on the back of the router, unless it's been changed.

But if you're playing with an original copy, none of this matters as the servers are long gone. Official multiplayer is dead. Wiimmfi lives on.

I believe the solution to this is to either make a guest network, which most providers allow you to do, and set the security to WEP on that network - but make it so that only your DS can access that network. Or, the other option is to set up a hotspot on your Phone (if you have an Android Phone) with your WiFi, and have it so that it does not need a password to connect. Then, when you have finished using WiFi on your DS, turn off the hotspot.

How does wiimmfi work exactly? Online gameplay is exactly the same, just via wiimmfii servers instead of nintendo's? Kind of cool!
