Well, sad news everyone.

Although I didn't post a thread about it earlier, Drake has been sick for a week or two with a reptile disease called Mouth Rot, without money to go to the vet, I could only wait and hope that he could make it to my birthday, because then I would be able to treat him, but he did not make it.

Drake died Saturday, August 7, 2010

Hang In there, i no what it's like. I had to put my dog down. He sat by my crib while I slept when was 1 and he was just starting out as a pup. he growled at anyone who would come near me while i was sleeping. even my mom. he would also let me ride his back. he lived to be 96 years old, then his stomach twisted and we hed to put him down.

No, that's like saying "don't have children if you can't afford them". A pet is like a child, only a bit different for obvious reasons. You love both (hopefully) and they become irreplaceable. I'm sorry for his death, I know he was very dear to you.
