Just spent the last three hours poppin' balloons trying to get the Summer DIYs. Turns out I had all of them the entire time. I should really research things before I mindlessly 'grind' things out.

Caught two bugs I've yet to catch, though. So I guess not all was lost.

Still haven't found a darn cicada shell, golden stag or scarab beetle yet though. Smh.

Had a similar situation with Celeste and her DIYs. Thought I would miss the Moon one and annoyed her the whole time to give me more DIYs, finally got it from her after a while only to realize that I already knew it. Not sure how I messed this up, guess I should use the app more often, lol.

But hey, at least you got those two bugs and you got some free stuff from the balloons, better then nothing after all.

Lol, yeah on my way back after tting to april to try out bunny day i decided to stop in may for the maze, looked up what else was then and saw it was where u learn the hedge diy. by the third day in that time zone my secondary character got it, but even 2 days later my main still wasn't triggering it. finally checked my recipes and i had gotten it already somehow >.<

This happened to me before. That's how I ended up making a checklist to keep track of things. It's an extra work but certainly worth the time.

Well there's a big chance you got some furniture in colors which aren't sold at the Nook's The only reason to shoot the balloons when there are not diy's to get actually

There is also a nook stamp for balloons, i think the highest was 500 or something? If you dont have it already then you just got closer.

You can get a shell wand, shell wreath, ocean flooring and wallpaper, shell pouch, shell partition (i THINK) and there might be some others but those are the only ones i have lol

no flex but i caught a cicada shell 2 days after july started and another yesterday ; v ; never realized they were that rare tho

I'm not sure if you can get the shell partition from balloons, but I'm 99% it's not actually a summer recipe! It's a year round one, I think. There's a whole "shell set" that's available year round. I'm pretty sure, if it doesn't require a summer shell, it's not a summer exclusive DIY.

You know what- I'm SURE it's not a summer one. Because I remember getting a Shell Partition as a gift from a villager when I first created my island, which was in March. I sold it, thinking it was regular furniture, then I couldn't reorder it and felt dumb. BUT then I found the DIY eventually and was happy.

Can't blame you for wanting it, though- the shell furniture is some of the neatest IMO!
