Jynxy, my beloved berded dragon, passed away last night. We called the vet and they said they couldn't do anything. So, she's up in that big desert in the sky.

I LOVE YOU JYNXY! RIP!

And on top of that, a few min. Ago we called the reptile store we got her from and asked if they did some sort of cremation or buried them somewhere. They said no, they just freeze them and throw them in the freaking trash. Anyone else see something wrong with that??

Anyway, thanks you guys.

No. It's a dragon as sad as it may be you would wanna cremate it? How long did you have it?

Uallacty, as bizarre as it sounds, I would want her ashes in a jar to keep to remember her. I had her for almost a year in December. ;(

a burial with a nice little headstone or sign with a short note might be good.
on the side of your house, or the backyard maybe, or if that's not possible.. not sure.

sad to hear, but you aren't alone in losing a loved pet. :)

Yep, my uncle has a 2nd job working as a mortician. So he buried her in his backyard. And it's so weird because I feel like she's sitting on my shoulder as an angel and I found a dandelion puff by where she was buried...I wished on it for her soul to be kept safe.

Thanks you guys. :)

^That would have been nice. But she's already buried in a flowerbed in my uncle's backyard.

But what if the future owner goes digging for metal or whatever and comes across a skeleton and calls a dinosaur and sells it on Ebay?

They're not moving. Ever. They've been living here for over 14 years and I'm positive they're not going anywhere. So she's safe and sound. The only thing good out of this is NO MORE CRICKETS. But other than that, I'll miss everything about her. Every detail on her back, the way she clings to my shirt, everything.

Oh, I'm sorry! We'll share the pain. :) I would do something else with her, but I don't want to disturb her peace. I'd feel so guilty. :)
