Welcome Amiibo's moving mechanics are actually annoying.

I'm not sure if this was how it worked before Welcome Amiibo released, but you can have villagers 'move' to your town if you have a villager in boxes, or is in a plot. Well, the first one I mentioned works if you're at 10 villagers. I had a villager move last night, and I let someone adopt them.. and this morning I see that one of their voided villagers has replaced the moved villagers house.

This is super annoying and just delays me getting Erik or Elmer, lol.

and no I won't time travel

I completely understand where you?re coming from- it?s frustrating sometimes!!

I must say that I?m surprised that a voided villager moved in the very next day into your town. In my experience that is incredibly rare - if you have 10 villagers the animals in the void ?should not? even qualify to move in. Usually there is a one day gap between:

- 10 villagers - one in boxes 📦
- next day - 9 villagers - now open to possibility of voided villager or finding someone else who is in boxes in another town
- next day - Void villager possibility showing a plot

I?m so sorry that happened to you. I have had my share of voided surprises. Bummer!
Very rare!

Better that they voided into where the old villager was then for them to plot somewhere and ruin a tree orchard, flowers, or path of some sort.

Wouldn't happen anyway; I have patterns down to prevent that and even if it did, all my 'valuable' hybrids are on the beach.
