Hey there! I was just wondering if anyone knows about how the new series of Amiibo cards are going to be released this Friday. I was hoping to go to my local Best Buy to pick up some packs, but there's no information on their website or nintendo's about purchasing them besides pre-ordering them from online retailers. Anyone have some more information?

GAME has extremely poor customer service for international customers. I don't recommend them if you want a smooth, easy transaction.
And noticed that amazon.ca took down the listing for these cards, Walmart doesn't allow pre-order, and every other place has them no longer listed. Which is really odd.

I wont be able to get them until the 3rd. Hopefully they'll have some in stock while i'm at toysrus this Saturday. I didn't pre-order them.
I pre-ordered 3 packs from Best Buy. They've already arrived at a center in my area and I get them tomorrow. As of yesterday, Best Buy let you pre-order for store pick up but no longer for shipping. Walmart now seems to only sell them online through sellers with high prices. So yeah...I think pre-ordering was key.

Yeah, I was looking for info on this, too. I have a $10 Best Buy giftcard, and was hoping to use it for a couple of packs of the Welcome Amiibo cards tomorrow. However, Best Buy's website is claiming that there's none available within 250 miles of my zip, so I can't do a pre-order with store pick up. However, I've plugged in a few other zip codes that ARE less than 250 miles away (but still not close enough for me to want to take a trip to), and miraculously, they were available. 
So, I wound e-mailing my local Best Buy to see if they'll have them tomorrow. I guess I'll give them a call tomorrow morning if I don't hear anything further. Will save me a trip if they aren't getting them in.

If you're willing to wait, Toys R Us is letting you order them. You won't get them tomrrow like you would be a preorder but you would get them by next week I'd think.

That's true, I'm just being a bit impatient with these, since I've got the gift card to Best Buy.
That, and I'm really hoping to get Ketchup, lol. I had a duck town awhile back, and thought she would've been so neat to have in it.
Yeah I noticed this on their website but it only showed up for a few stores 50 miles away. I hope that doesn't mean those are the only ones that have them!!

I wound up ordering online from Best Buy, since that option's available again and they are offering free shipping. They should be here by next Friday.

I wish stores could limit how many packs you could buy, every store I've been to it's the same story "Someone bought all the packs sorry.".

GameStop doesn't have them listed online but I went to my store and they had them behind the counter you just had to ask!
