So today I was playing New Leaf, and I went into Flo's house. I went to talk to her, then clicked the answer "let's talk" or whatever. But once I did, she didn't say anything and her speech bubble remained blank. I couldn't do anything, so I was forced to power off. It seemed really weird, like a glitch that wasn't supposed to happen. Has this or something similar happened to you? Just wondering to see if this was a problem for anyone else.

I've gotten that :/ If I recall correctly the music was still playing and the villager was doing that little sway thing, but no words showed up. Thankfully it was within a few minutes of starting up my game so I didn't lose anything huge.

It happened to me as well. As minxe said, it still continues everything else.

Maybe there's a line missing for a certain villager or personality, triggering a blank box you can't escape? Can anyone that's had it happen list the villager and personality it happened with?

I've had this happen to me as well. Like others have said, it's just frozen on the blank bubble, with the music and animations still going. :p This happened with a cranky personality and I know the convo was supposed to be about some petition I didn't get any names for.

I thought you were going to talk about the glitch where you talk to a villager or a NPC and their mouths hang open. I've only had it happen online, but it's pretty strange too.

As for this one, it sounds like the game locked up. I've had that happen before too but when I opened a closet.

i once was talking to Tom, and you know how the mouth is animaded to open and close? well after i was done talking to him his face had still a open mouth. i talked to him again though and it closed, but man it was freaky to me :C

Thanks, I just thought it was weird because it hadn't happened to me before. And yes, the animations were still working but her speech bubble was blank. Thankfully, the game saved my progress when I was getting a dream address at the Dream Suite, so I didn't have to find Jack again. But it's still pretty weird.
