Were they reading to it, like actually moving their mouths and talking? Or just reading near it? Because if it's the first, I have to try and recreate this!!

Ah! Sounds like the turtle was next to flowers and she was studying the flowers. (that's a hobby the nature sub-personalities do a lot) Very cute!

Large groups of my villagers will Naruto run across my plaza. They bump into each other all the time because there's so many of them doing it. They seem to really enjoy it though lol.
Julian did something weird today. He just stood in the plaza with his arms bent completely still! I thought he was frozen until I moved next to him and his head turned towards me. He did the same pose completely still (except to look at me) for about half an hour then changed his arm to down by his side and stayed still again for an hour or so.
It was pretty strange...

Phil likes to walk back and forth from his house to the airport and back. Like I recently just got some paths going so I was like "oh, cool, he's walking along the path." But then I wondered how he'd get to his house since it's up a cliff (there's a ramp) and across a river (bridge not built yet). Well, after following him, he went up the ramp and then turned off the path. Interested, I kept following. He walked along the narrow ridge between the two upper cliffs areas, like behind where you can't see anything, and came out right by his house. I was in awe. I didn't know that part connected let alone that he'd figure that out.
This is all he does. He walks back and forth from house to airport, and back. Every time on his way down he stopped kinda near the able sisters, looks intently at the river, and sits down for a few seconds. Then he gets up and just keeps walking.
Oh, and Plucky likes to sit in the middle of paths. Like not by a tree or anything, just... Right where you wanna be walking.

Beau keeps sniffing the hyacinths near my plaza and it's the cutest and weirdest thing, he actually looks like a stoner lmao

- judy likes plopping herself right smack in the middle of the walkway to dodo airlines, usually with a drink in hand - it prevents me from going into the airport until she moves 
she's lucky she's cute and i love her (stitches did this once too when he was on my island)
- i used to have fang on my island - so when he was still there, he and diana would always be standing around this one tree near their houses (they were neighbors), diana would usually be examining the tree with a magnifying glass and fang would just be right beside or behind her, standing there, looking around, looking at her. i'd be like
