I never see him inside his house or in the town, he's always in some place where I can't find him;;. Is this normal? He's been doing it for a week and im afraid he'll move away again

He does that in my town too :) I'm pretty sure it's normal for some villagers

Some people just have that one elusive villager, for me personally it's Colton. I also have Julian and he doesn't do that but Colton just loves to be in the last place I look.

I found the solution lol

I didn't know that lol. It's pretty annoying, but I guess this fabulous blue unicorn cannot be tamed.

Is he your newest villager?

I have found that the newest villager is elusive for a very, very long time...about a month or so.

And I have had towns with long term villagers where one of them is the sneaky one. I used to get mad about it, now when I want to see them I think of it as silent Hide-and-Seek. When I find them its usually in the museum. LOL

Is he a new villager for you? If so, that's pretty normal. It took Pekoe about a week or two before she finally was out of her house and stopped visiting main street. It's kinda like real life, I guess, people when they first move are worried about unpacking and sorting things in their house and then they wanna explore a bit of the city and shop for new stuff.

It does get annoying though, especially if you wanna immediately start redecorating their house or just having a conversation with them to see if you actually like them in your town.

Lately Olivia has been doing this to me. She will practically disappear, and I'll have to save and quit several times before being able to find her.

Yeah he's kind of new, he's been in my town for 5 days. He's usually in the cafe lol.

Good! Then you should be able to interact with him soon at least^^

You could always reset by save quitting and force him to appear out of his house if you really need him to ping if you're worried. However, the best method I use to find out if they're moving is this guide here. I'm sure it's fine though c:

This happens alot with me. Usually I can't find Fang or Molly even though they have lived in my town for a long time.
