Weird pitfall glitch?

So..I was playing pranks on my villagers with pitfalls that I got from the lost & found in my town, Bluebell.

Portia fell into one and when I went up to talk to her, this happen:


She's standing above the hole now while doing the 'Distress' emotion.

I've never seen this before and I (used to) played this game a lot.

i don’t believe i’ve ever seen that before, either! but then again, its been a long time since i’ve played wild world aha
