In my town I seem to attract a lot of deer villagers. It started small, I see Bruce in the campsite and think he looks cool, I'll invite him to move here. Then later I saw Fauna and I think hmm, I already have a deer but she is pretty adorable so I'll invite her in too. Then Beau appears, I decide I may as well have a third deer, then Lopez comes in and at this point I've accepted the trend. For a while no deer appear but one day Fauna decides to move and the day after she leaves Bam appears in the campsite, so I get him to move in because I don't want to chance a random move in. When Bam leaves Fuchsia moves in, she wasn't even in the campsite she was a completely random move in. When Bruce decided to move out Deirdre moved in. I think it stopped after that, Fuchsia moved out and nothing happened, and Lopez moved out so now I'm down to two deer villagers for the first time since this all began.

I also have a weird trend where half of my voided villagers have a name that starts with 'B' for some reason. Bangle, Bella, Bam, Bruce, and Broccolo. It wasn't on purpose, it just kinda happened.

Does anyone else have some weirdly specific luck? A bizarre recurring trend that has no reason to exist that nobody else seems to have?

You're so lucky! I love all the deer, they're so cute. c:
The only incidence of specific luck I can think of is when Erik decided to plot in the exact same awful spot like four times in a row while I was plot resetting. I figured I messed up so I went on and became a resident, only to find that he decided to move to a pretty good spot! I seem to have pretty good luck when I let my villagers choose where to move, but when I plot reset they always like to place their houses onto my paths or where I want to place a PWP. -.-

I once caught an entire inventory full of fish without missing a single catch. Pretty damn impressive for me.

You're lucky! The last few times I've been off-cycle with my move-in's and forgot to plot reset and every time it has been on a bed of hybrids, in the middle of a path or in the middle of my park (thanks Groucho...). I wish I had good luck with my villagers naturally moving in. I guess I have good luck with my flower hybrids though. They seem to grow really easily even though I don't put much effort into it. I think a lot of them grow from my villagers watering, haha.

Ooh, I certainly have a bizarre recurring trend that has no reason to exist that nobody else seems to have. I've had around eleven villagers get sick in the entire nine months I've been playing this game, and it has been Molly eight times. The other three were all only ever sick once. I'm not sure if I should let Molly move out in case Rosetown is making her sick or make her stay here to make sure she keeps getting medicine when she is ill.

When Annalisa was in my town she would always get sick! Like no one else got sick but she did like 10 times! It was reallllly strange.

Bree decided to put her house in the same awful spot around 55 times in a row! That was not a fun 3 days of plot resetting -.-

I've never had anything like this happen! That's super lucky :) I've only seen Fauna in-game but I'd love to see the rest of the deer. Deer town!!!

Haha I have something similar, and I think my town has a thing for jocks.

Like I was resetting the campsite and got Bill (I liked him but I really wanted a girl), and I got a few jocks in the campsite apart from him too. I also have Boone and Rowan in my town (Rowan was a streetpass move in).

On top of that, I didn't really plot reset for either, so Boone and Rowan sandwiched my house??? Like I know riverfront property is prime real estate, but come on. :p

I would have to say you are fairly blessed as I envy your luck. I already have 4 deer villagers but my results were intentional, I scouted to have them on these forums. At first it wasn't entirely intentional but when my first deer villager moved in, Bruce, I was like, "Oh cool, I get to experience one of the new species in the AC series," and I ended up really liking him.

I formulated my dreamie list wanting a diverse palette of personalities and also to have an aesthetic that I find appealing. It just ended up being deer city all over the place. I contemplated creating a dream town of just deer but that's where the aesthetic threshold comes in. While I like some of the deer designs, there are others I just don't find attractive despite the consensus of the forum populace.

I have the same deer luck as you! Diana was one of my starting villagers, and Deirdre appeared a few days later in a time travelling accident. Zell and Lopez both came from my campsite, I believe. After I had three deer villagers, I decided to just try to get them all. :P

Heh,a lot of you probably wouldn't consider this lucky but I was resetting for a new town last spring and I got one with four of the five starters being frogs so I started an all frog town.Ribbit.

This is some interesting stuff, especially that bit about Molly and Annalisa specifically getting sick a lot. I haven't really had a problem with any one villager getting sick all the time.

My deer luck would probably be cooler if I actually wanted deer, they're cute but none of them are really dream villagers to me and when they moved out I had terrible luck trying to trade them away and wound up voiding most of them. Bruce moved out on my sister's birthday so I didn't get a chance to trade him, I tried trading Bam but I didn't have much time because someone had Sterling for me and I had to void him to make room, when I tried trading Fuchsia the only comment I got was from someone who's town was full. My deer luck has two sides to it apparently.

I thought of another odd trend in my town but this was kind of a one-time thing rather than a long-term occurrence for me. You know how occasionally a villager might share the shirt they're wearing to another villager? When Rory moved in his periwinkle tee spread to half my town in just a few days, it was like Rory had some kind of cult or something and if I didn't move him out he would've taken over the whole place.

the gods have obviously been on your side.
