Weird Island?

For the past couple of days, I've noticed a pattern with my island. I only have 6 coconut trees on my island and there's 3 on the left and 3 on the right. That way the middle is open and I don't have to walk behind trees and scare beetles because beetle farming is the main reason I go to the island.

But this pattern that has been occurring every night I come is that the right 3 trees will have beetles on them but the left side will never have beetles. And the right side will have sharks and high price fish, but the left side will only have small fish. And this has been going on for a while, not just one night! Even if I go back into the island hut, or go on a tour it stays the same.

Does anyone else's island have weird patterns like mine?

YES! I knew there was a pattern. I have that exact same thing going on and I didn't really give much attention to it.

it doesn't change its how the algorithm works. You can start it over by walking in the hut and back out onto the island but its the same programming. Thats why its easy to farm beetles to get rich quick. A nice foundation for a new game This is why most people who are farming for bells will cut everything down except two trees. Takes a lot of the guess work out of the pattern
