Weird Experiences at the Store

Put down some weird/funny/frustrating experiences about the local department store or grocery.
I was just walking down with my dad to the cash register when we were getting a 2DS to find a very angry lady yelling at the register guy. It was something about one of her son's toys and how it "broke itself the moment he touched it." My dad whispered, "this lady is dangerous, let's go," and we crept to the next register.

this isn't my weird experience, but it's my ap psychology teacher's story.
he was at the store buying poker chips because he needed them to simulate random selection for demonstrate how to experiment, but one box had like equal parts red, green, white, and black chips. he needed more of white and didn't need black, so he wanted to switch the black set in one box with the white in another box to get twice as many white chips. a walmart employee came around and asked my teacher if he needed anything (as routine for his job), and my teacher felt super guilty so he told the employee about what he wanted to do. the employee went to the manager, and the manager let my teacher to the switch (surprisingly). at the check counter, my teacher told the woman about the switch as well because he still kind of bad about it, and the woman gave him a weird look and just said, "honey, i don't care what you do"

^this story was not funny or intriguing at all. not really sure why i wasted my time typing it all out

i was at game stop and saw this really hot guy. i took a pic of him via snapchat to send to my friend, but here's my **** up: my flash was on. he noticed and looked up at me while i had my phone up. kinda just froze there trying to figure out what to do, so he just walked away while still staring at me lmao

I was at starbucks ordering a frappacino-vanilla bean and the front guy got everything set up and ready to go, I put my card in the slot then waited for it finish, it was done then I stood there for two mintues for the guy to hand back the reciept and he thought the machine was still rolling and then realized it was done a long time ago. I didn't really bother telling him because I thought he was busy, but he was just day dreaming awayy

Not grocery but I used to frequent this really nerdy, mainly book and tabletop/rpg store and sometimes people actually asked if I worked there cause one guy asked me if I knew about some manga.. haha. Well it's a good place but my limits is to the manga/anime/Japan section there so I doubt they'd hire me I know like nothing of sci-fi and tt/rpg games lol

this one girl at our neighborhood departmental store was doing an awkward job flirting with me. well it was.. awkward i suppose.

I went to a Dunkin Donuts drive through once and y'know, it was all normal...the person on the other end said the usual "Welcome to Dunkin' Donuts, what can I get for you today" or whatever. I ordered my coffee, and then the woman seductively said "Oh baby, anything for you"
There were a few seconds of (awkward) silence, then she said "can I serve you anything else, lover?" and I said "Uh...no, just the coffee, thanks"
Then she went back to normal and said "Okay hun, pull up to the first window, thanks!"

I was shopping at a Macy's when an elderly woman working there pulled me aside to try on some beauty products on my face. I had nothing to really do at the time so I didn't mind too much. All the sudden, mid conversation, she gropes my boobs and just stares into my eyes all while doing so and says "My, you need a better bra!" Yikerz. I mean in all honesty I did need a better bra, this was during the time before I had my breast reduction and was super top heavy, it was hard to find a good bra; I hate people touching me in general so I legit died a bit inside that day.

This happened so long ago, I can barely remember it :'D
Anyway, I was about 6 years old and I was at Wal-Mart with my dad. I was looking for a new toothbrush or whatever, then all of a sudden this really tall dude comes strolling down the aisle, ever so slowly, grunting loudly the entire way. I got scared and ran away xD

I was about 8 when this happened so, uh, yeah. I remember we were in Morrisons and me and my Mum were just doing a little bit of shopping. They always seem to have weird music on in Morrisons, and I started like, doing a little wiggle and a dance and stuff...
And I lost my footing and fell face first onto the hard floor. One of my teeth came flying out, slipped under one of the fridge-thingies, and was never seen again. Pretty sure there might have been a camera in that aisle too, so that might have been recorded.

A few days ago I had a customer tell me they appreciated me.

It's weird usually they tell me they hate me and wanna speak to the manager for sassing them or something.

lol we always have some druggie or drunk ass down here that grunt across the store so i'm way too used.. but i can imagine being that young it might be really creepy.

also not in a store but this dude who obviously was high started shouting on the train station like.. I AM JESUS LISTEN TO ME or whatever and he started shouting after some lady lol...

I've seen some really nasty people wearing super short shorts or pajamas at walmart... or panty hose (the see through kind) instead of pants *shudder*

I also saw a walmart employee chewing this guy out for losing his 2 year old daughter in the store...

Peopleofwalmart is a website for a reason.

Oh yes.. people with sports shorts, pj's or just their undies are disgusting asf like how can you not see that.. i mean okay if they are homeless or something but tbh . ugh

I work in retail, every day is a weird experience for me lol.
there is this one guy who always comes in with really loud music and always gets a ton of stuff, but he NEVER has enough money and leaves half of it.

I was walking around a dollar store, and some dude kept "discreetly" following me. Every aisle I went on, he'd show up. I noticed. So, I went to an aisle that he'd have no reason to go on. I went to the toy aisle Yet there he went as well.
After my grandpa got done with his haircut (at this place next to the dollar store), came in the dollar store and met up with me, the guy that was following me left the store completely. So, idk.


Another time my friend and I were at the mall and went to Sears after buying food to eat. We went to Sears because they had living room displays with a couch, chair and TV set up. So, we sat there chillin', eating and talking. An employee came up and asked if we wanted to watch a movie on the TV. So, of course, we said "SURE! ". He turned on the tv and played the only movie that was in there, which was 50 First Dates. That was cool.

I was walking through the mall one morning when I heard something spilling. It turns out that someone was vomiting all over the floor at Claire's. I felt bad for whoever had to clean that up.

Oh, I just remembered I was at a thrift store/secondhand store, and this lady...was so infuriated that this pair of shoes were not her size. She got so angry, she was yelling at the people who worked there. She yelled at me for looking at her. She then started throwing the shoes at the person who was working behind the counter. They had the call the cops on her, to get her to leave.
