Honest question, what is the appeal behind Lolly? I guess I can see something for Marshal even if I'm not a fan of him personally, but I'm struggling to see the hype for Lolly. Is it the eyes? The design as a whole? Her having the normal personality? I ran into her twice on my last hunt and my opinion of her did not change. I'm obviously sticking to my deer but I'd love to hear where the appeal stems from with her in case we run into a Lolly vs. Marshal situation.
I think the simpler designs of villagers really appeal to a lot of people, as you can probably see with Fauna. Also, Lolly generally has a very cute design. My favorite part is her little curved mouth. ❤
lolly is my absolute favorite villager because her little face is so cute. i love her little “6” shaped eyes and :3 mouth. i think she makes adorable happy faces, especially when her eyes are closed and she’s smiling. add that to the fact that normal is a cute personality in general, and cat villagers are adorable, and you have the full package.
edit to add that her name/catchphrase are really cute too!! lolly and “bonbon” both evoke images of yummy adorable sweets. back when they had goals she wanted to be a chef so i envision her as a little baker.

I personally prefer Diana to Fauna, so I wasn’t too mad about that. But at this point, I like everyone in the polls so I’m being nick picky... If I had to choose, I’d have put Fauna and Marshal in the bottom 2 (don’t hate me...
) but hey, I like everyone!
