Weeds still growing with Beautiful Town Ordinance?

Hello,

So for the past few days I've been battling weeds. This morning, a weed popped up EVEN THOUGH I have the Keep [Insert Town Name] Beautiful Ordinance in effect?? I'm not sure if it's just because it's spring now and the snow's all gone (even though it's raining in my town today -_- spring is so beautiful wowowow) or what?

Anyway, if you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it! I hate weed pulling and want to do as little as possible this year lol. Thanks!

The beautiful town ordinance doesn't prevent them from spawning entirely, it just makes it really rare for them to spawn.
Depending on how much your getting you're probably getting really unlucky :/

do you tend to time travel a lot? i have the Beautiful Ordinance and i hardly ever get weeds.

Like Asutoro said, they spawn really rarely if you have the Beautiful Town Ordinance. But they still spawn. Perhaps you're just getting a stroke of bad luck? I have the Beautiful Town Ordinance and I still get a weed every now and then (maybe like 2 a month).

Like what they said, I still get weeds even with the beautiful town ordinance on but very rarely like once or twice a month and sometimes, never.

Acording to dialogue in game, there are fewer weeds and villagers are tould to remove weeds on sight.
Of course, the weeds can keep spawning, but you'll don't see too many weeds unless you're out of luck.

Weeding Day might be useless if Beautiful Town Ordinance is enacted, though we still get the benefits of having new Public Project Works.

If the Beautiful Town Ordinance is enacted, weeds will usually only appear once or twice every month. Villagers will also pluck up any weeds if they see any (apparently, I haven't seen it happen since I have an area in the corner of my town where buried items and weeds would only appear).

Weeds will still grow in town despite having the Beautiful Ordinance.
Simply lowers the rarity of them.

They spawn very rarely with the ordinance. I basically get like, one every few days or so. I wish it banned them entirely though.

Unfortunately, weeds aren't permanently removed when Beautiful Town is in effect. The spawn rate is a loooot more lower than the other ordinances, though.

I had no weeds whatsoever during winter T_T thanks you guys! Guess I'll just need to embrace the weeds x.x

Unless ya can purge ALL the microscopic seeds that are floatin' around yar town, yar not gonna see the end of weeds in yar town no matter how much ordinances ya enact.

In short, ya can' beat Mother Nature. Ya could slap her across her face via pollutin' the world, but I don't recommend that plan of attack.

Yep, like everyone has said they're just a bit more rare, if you tt they can become more frequent to. I did a lot of back and fourth to get a villager to plot in the right place and I got several weeds even with the Beautiful Town ordinance in place. But then I don't really mind the weeds, I just care about my flowers not wilting!

I only get a weed like once every few months or so. I've had the ordinance in place for about 3-4 years now.

I still get weeds!! However, they started appearing a lot more in the last week. I wonder if it's because it's now spring?
