Okay, I am getting really frustrated now. So I really want the cool PWPs and I expected to get them since I thought I had no weeds but I spoke to Leif and he said I had one. I started searching expecting to find it really easily, but I can't find it anywhere. Out of frustration I went on a mule account and started cutting down all the trees and bushes to see if I can find it... I still can't. My town is completely empty now and I have been searching for hours and there is no goddamn weed anywhere!?

Sometimes the buggers will spawn behind a PWP or house, you have to position yourself just right, hit the up arrow and that'll make the foreground object disappear. That's the only way I've managed to find them sometimes!
I have done this as well. I went behind every single house, every single pwp and building and it isn't anywhere. It is like a ghost weed or something.

Maybe round up some people here and have them help look? Multiple sets of eyes are better than one. I saw some people yesterday who had the same problem as you and that's what they did.
What you should have done is, the day before, talked to Leif in the store. He actually offers to weed the town for you, and tells you exactly if you don't have any weeds or not. If you don't mind time traveling, you can do that.
