wedding set - did you use it?

well well
im kinda curious to know if most of you actually used pieces of this set!
at first, i was just interested in the candles, since most of the pieces semmed too much pinkyish cute for my island,
also couldn't find a zone that could go with this set that wasnt a wedding zone
then
this morning i got what i could say seemed a nice idea (i was laking some variety on my island and struggling to find a decent different zone).
so
here it is

id be curious to see other different way to use this set though!

I'm waiting to have everything before I start thinking about what to do with them. The only place I could put them in in my house is the basement, but I like the way it is right now and I didn't dump millions of bells on my isntruments just to have them in my storage lol. I'll see what I can do with those items.

So far, I haven't found any use for it aside from collection purposes. Much like the Bunny Day stuff, it's just clogging my storage. At the very least, the Fishing Tourney items and seasonal furniture have great use.

That said, there are several furniture from the wedding set that I will use. Unlike the eggs.

Tbh the wedding set fits so well into the cute/lovely set (hence why it's called cute in the customization) so i made Rosie a little area with lovely/cute set items along with wedding items

if anyones wondering why i put cute/lovely it's because if im not mistaken it was called the lovely set in new leaf so I confuse the names

I haven't actually used them yet on my island, but I think the chic/garden customization options look wayy better than the pink/white original look of the set, so I'm probably gonna use these versions! :D

Not yet, but I might use it to make a fancy garden or party area in my island, not a wedding venue actually.

I intend to make a small wedding area on my island when I get all the items I want from this event. All of them are so cute that it’d be a shame to not use them.

Yeah, so far I have the candles and a wedding flower stand (both been customize) at my flower shop outside.

I'm using the candles a lot. They are very pretty, especially when customized. I also love the organ! I cleared out my main room in my house just to build a phantom-of-the-opera-esque lair which is going to be my next big project.
Otherwise I'm also quite fond of the flower decorations.
I think I'll end up using most of the stuff, although mostly not in the pink variant.

I have the furniture placed in front of my house as a constant reminder of what I've actually redeemed so far. Once I have the set they'll likely just be tossed in storage.

I haven't used them yet but I LOVE the garden customization! And so far, the candles are my favourite item ^_^ I'll be making a fancy dinner spot on my island and I'll use some items therem don't think I'm interested to actually have a wedding spot anywhere.

Sorry to disappoint.

I'd be more inclined to use the set if the items weren't pink. Navy or plum would've fit my town better!

I understand, I personally would've never even considered using the items if only the pink versions existed lmao

My problem with this set is that for an actual wedding setup you need a LOT of duplicates. It's just hard to know exactly how many of each piece I'd need.

I designated a small portion of my Island to it as part of an outdoorsy wedding theme.
I like the furniture pieces and I'm actually thinking of customizing them to give them a more rustic vibe.
I don't think it'll be a permanent display though but, so far, I think it's pretty neat.
I think the pieces are far more superior to the Bunny Day event.

I am using the cake in my hotel cafe.
The rose decorations that are on the walls in my white/green bedroom.
Then I have some of the other items used in the cherry blossom room in my faye's house.

I've only done the photo shoot twice so far and received the bench / chair. Not a huge fan of the photo shoot (or the items in general) but I am hoping to get the candles/wedding arch. The plan is to recolor them for a future beach festival area. Candles and lights on the beach always remind me of releasing boats with little lanterns. I'd like to recreate that somehow.

The jail bars have anchored everything nicely in your little area.

Those are really nice pictures. It gives off a funeral vibe.

Going back to the topic, I will use them for sure after completing the set!
