Wedding Event Not Being Prompted

It’s June 1st in my game and the wedding event never got prompted. It showed Isabelle like normal in her morning announcements (she never mentioned anything about the event like I saw in some videos) and when it went to island I never got a call or message from Harvey...

I’ve tried going back a week and coming back to the 1st of June and still nothing. My game is also updated to the most recent update.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

I went and talked to him just now and all he told me was that the studio was open. :/

I'm pretty sure you would need to meet him beforehand to prompt a call from Harvey, cuz if you never went there before yet, he won't call you to inform you about Reese and Cyrus being there... But all you have to do is visit Harv's island and they'll be there even without a call from Harv

I have met Harvey before. :/
And I went to his island just now and they weren’t there. And when I went to talk to him all he said was the usual stuff about the studio.

Ohhh no if that's the case then something did went wrong... Since it's already June 1st on your island, even without a prompt from Harvey, Reese and Cyrus should be there regardless... It's probably a bug or something from the game, hope you're able to find a way to fix it tho

Ohhh no if that's the case then something did went wrong... Since it's already June 1st on your island, even without a prompt from Harvey, Reese and Cyrus should be there regardless... It's probably a bug or something from the game, hope you're able to find a way to fix it tho

Dang.. that’s what I thought as worried about.. if I uninstall and reinstall the game will I loose all my progress?

Have you clicked the box in your Switch system settings that syncs your time with the internet time? If I understand the game correctly, you can't participate in special events like this unless you do this. I time travelled from May into June briefly and never got the prompt, but once I re-synced my time the prompt came the next day during morning announcements!

Are you absolutely sure that you are in the update 1.2.1c? Several ppl were on "b" and that is why it didnt trigger.

This is not 100% accurate. My alts never visited his island prior to this but they still got his phone call... had to listen to the lovely talk of "Harveys island...? Ooooh!" dialog tree at the airport back to back. >.<
