Watering Fossil's

So, I have almost a complete Fossil Collection in the museum. I see a fossil burried near my beach. I water it, just to see if it would do something. I dig it up, thinking it would be a duplicate fossil, but no. It was a brand spankin' new one. Either watering a fossil makes it a new one, or I was just really lucky. o_o

This is the first time I have tried this, and it worked. Also, I used a silver watering can, if that matters.

OMG ok so i was not really buying into this but i was like what the heak so i am walkin around with the silver can and at the ocean/river i see one i was like ok then i watered it and dug it up and it was the t-rex head i have been hunting for XD

blue2kid3 just did it with the watering can, and he found a new fossil too! It was by the Beach Shore too!

No, it's just a random star on the ground, not knowing that it is a fossil. Water it, dig it up, and if it is a fossil, it might be a new one.

i just watered with a golden one twice on accident and it still worked only 5 new ones to go
