Soda was the one thing I was never allowed to drink as a kid, besides alcohol lol. Even if I was allowed, I think I'd still like water better anyway. I probably drink 2 gallons of water a day, what with football and working out.
I only drink water, tea, coffee and protein stuff. I have been craving soda recently so bad though. But I know I'd regret it later as it's looked down on in my career sadly. At least I still have coffee!
Sometimes, I drink whatever I want (not soda), then I drink water afterwards. Soda isn't meant to hydrate you, by the way. It just dehydrates you further, at least that's what I heard.
I'll vote water for now, I drink water more often than tea.
Soda makes me feel sick because of all the sugar. My body can't handle it, so I only take a sip every once in awhile. If a friend is ordering a soda, I'll sneak a few sips from their drinks. Other than that, I try to stay away from it. I love hot tea though! Right now I'm enjoying a nice glass of ice water, actually. I'll probably drink a soda maybe once every two months. It's pretty rare.
I'd pick water over soda/fizzy drinks any day. I don't like the gritty texture of fizzy drinks but, at the same time, I don't like the taste of tap water alone. That's why I prefer bottled water.
Water because it's healthier than soda. It depends on where I am if I'll drink water straight from the tap, I like the tap water at my home but I don't like it at my university so I get bottled water there instead.
I'll have the occasionally soda if it's the only thing that will quench my thirst, but I usually have tap water since my house's tap is very cool and refreshing.
