Water or Soda?

Do you prefer soda (or soft drink which ever), or water?

For me, it's water. Water is so much more refreshing and it keeps me hydrated compared to soda. Soda is painful for me to drink to be honest. I can't handle the fizziness, it hurts when I swallow it, this is especially for coca cola. And also, it makes me thirsty like 2 seconds later which is annoying. I can go on, but I'd rather not.

Sorry if there was already a thread for this.

Edit: I made this just to see how much prefer water over soda or vice versa.

same here. i never drink soda
 
I'm pretty much 50-50 on this. I try not to drink more than a glass of pop a day, but it's good for a quick pick-me-up when I'm low on energy, plus I kind of actually like the fizz ^.^; I drink at least 7 glasses of water daily.
 
I used to drink soda all the time. I stopped and now I only drink water. From time to time, I'll drink soda.

I rarely drink soda, it kinda just makes me more thirsty so I prefer water. I like coffee above all though.
 
I picked water, although if I'm at home, I'll usually throw either mint, cucumber slices, or lemon in there-sometimes all three! And I also usually have a cup of coffee in the morning and a mug of tea at night, though I love them both cold brew in the summer! Water is the most refreshing though.

I rarely drink soda. Every once and a while I'll crave a blood orange San Pel but they aren't really those heavy syrupy drinks like dark colas so I don't feel bad drinking them.
 
I know that the amount of soda I drink is horrible but I hate water, it's just too.. Boring. Along with working out, and eating healthy foods. It's a miracle I am underweight for my height. Well, I'm a 14 year old guy that grew like crazy height wise but never.. Filled out and got any muscle? Lol so yeah I'm like a 6 foot stick that eats like a pig and is lazier than a sloth. So I guess being underweight at my height is a very temporary thing hah..... :(

I dread the days of when I will have to actually pay attention to what I eat and drink in order to not weight 600 pounds. :(
 
At home, I only drink water/milk/juice. I love soda, but I usually only drink it if I'm at a restaurant from time to time. It used to be a kitchen staple as a kid but now I've grown out of it, care about health, etc. Once in awhile doesn't hurt ^^
 
I try to limit the amount of soda I drink to the least amount possible. But when I do want to get a soft drink, I usually go for Sprite.

I used to only drink Coke, but I decided to stop when I saw an experiment on YouTube that shows what can happen to your teeth with continuous consumption of it. It scared me enough to vow that I will drink Coke again.

I wish I had the willpower to stop drinking sodas all together :( It would be so much healthier
 
I always drink water after sweating like a dog.
Soda is for one of those times when I need to get a quick drink that isn't Sweet Tea or Lemonade.
 
water mostly. but if I'm eating something kinda heavy, the fizziness and sweetness of soda just rly can't be beat.
 
I prefer soda. I'll occasionally for a Dr. Pepper, but I usually get a Sprite because it's caffeine-free.
Water doesn't have a flavor, but sometimes it does when it's not supposed to. And that's gross.
