Technically I downloaded pocket camp, just to get a taste of the animal crossing franchise, but I didn’t really like it. However, I got new horizons and I adore it! It’s really cute and I play for multiple hours at a time C :
I've been playing since the GameCube days when I had to import the North American version in 2002 as Nintendo of Europe stated they had no plans to release the game (it was eventually released in 2004).
Nope, mine was NL. I never knew that animal crossing existed before NL otherwise I would have played the other versions. Tempted to get WW just to see what it was like.
I never owned a Gamecube, so my first Animal Crossing game would be Wild World. But I wasn't as invested on it. I skipped City Folk.
New Leaf is where I really became a fan of the series. Although I only played continuously for the first 3-4 months then only came back to it sporadically. New Horizons is different though. I have been playing everyday since release date and I plan to do it for a full year.
I started with ww but didn't play it as much, then I got city folk and it just layed there for a month because I didn't know how to control the character, lol. When I figured it out I played it until like 2016, and then I got new leaf.
