Wanting new eyes :(

When I first got ACNL I hardly knew anything about it so I didn't know there were face guides. I also didn't have a Tumblr so I couldn't see all the cool QR codes or looks people make. And I noticed 80% of the girls have these eyes:

I like them a lot and they go perfectly with almost all looks.

Don't get me wrong, I like my eyes, I just wish there was a way to change them if you wanted to.

Lemmie know if anyone else feels this way. (Lol, ACNL first world problems)


~Alright guys. I've mulled it over in my head, and I think I'm going to restart my town. I know, I know you guys have said I can make them look okay and actually cute if I get the right hairstyle, but honestly, I just can't anymore. I want to reset. The reason? 90% my eyes, 10% my town is getting boring. I will probably have a massive giveaway at some point, but I'll let you guys know when I'm thinking about it. VM what you think. And if I restart my town, should I keep the name GreenBay? Thanks guys. (Also sorry if I posted something simaler to this like a million times, my computer is being glitchy, lol)

Omg right!? I wish that instead of having the Mii makeup, because most people don't use it, they just have the options at Shampoodle be Hairstyle and Color Contacts. But in the Color Contacts menu, you can also choose the shape of your eyes. ~Alright, talk to you later. I've got plans now.

I feel your pain. I didn't know about the face guides when I first got my game, either. I'm lucky that I found a face guide only a week after playing, so it wasn't a big deal to reset back then, but I can only imagine how annoying it would be if I had put more time and effort into my town. I agree that we should be able to change them!

The eyes you have were the ones I started with on my first file. I got tired of them real fast. It would have been nice to change them, but it wasn't the reason for me to restart. I wore the hair-bow wig and it made those eyes a little bit more bearable.

I have the eyes you want and am grateful I got them randomly- I had no idea those questions determined your face! I chose the current face you have for my alt. She's a mermaid and I give her blue or pink hair. I felt those eyes fit a mermaid and were pretty.~ They aren't so bad!

I had the second to last eyes and got sick of them even though I love the eyebrows.

Now I have this face and I'm a lot happier. It's definitely my favorite face.
I plan to make the eyes black though.

I like the eyes my character has, but I'm glad they let you customize and change your characters appearance in HHD. I hope they also let you in future installments.

i experienced that pain for 3 years. glad that i changed it recently so i ain't gotta feel it no more.

I think I got lucky with mine, got quite a cute face but I've since realised it's pretty much the same face everybody other female mayor has....
I wish we could alter our face like with our hair. So many things are permanent in this game and like you, when I first started I didn't really know what I was doing. So I ended up with a map I don't like as well.

I feel like that too sometimes. My other mayor has sleepy eyes and the other has a blushy face and sometimes I grow really tired of them and start thinking that they look ugly. Whenever that happens, I just find a new hairstyle and outfit (usually with the round glasses) that fit the eyes. That seems to help me every time. Even though I don't like how those eyes look with most clothes, I always find an outfit that makes them look good. I think any eyes can be made to look good with the right clothes and accessories.

Yeah, I had the very first aaa eyes when I started, but I got soooo bored of them. I guess I just like more interesting faces. I ended up restarting my game so I could have the droopy sleepy eyes and I love them!

I have these in my Lotus mayor and I'm trying not to hate them, because at this point I don't want to reset the town.

Pretty sure mine are the worst out of all of them. But I'm slowly embracing the animated doll life. Also it looks better with a pixie cut.

I noticed most girls have those eyes too, but honestly I wanted to be different so I chose the eyes you have at the moment because I thought they looked pretty. But then afterwards I regretted it. Personally, i've gotten used to my eyes now and I don't mind them but I do agree that they don't go with many looks. Or hairstyles, maybe it's because the eyes are quite small and whenever you have a haircut, if it's not the original hairstyle it often looks like the player doesn't have eyelashes. However, I found that with these eyes they look better in black - because before they were blue and I really didn't like the way they looked. There's just something about having them in black that makes them look more full.. I guess? Also the ponytail hairstyle goes great with those eyes. I think if I hadn't found that out I probably would've resetted over my eyes.

I have the black anime kinda shiny eyes, and for my first year of playing I regretted that choice, but now I'm kinda used to it. I don't change the color though, I think it looks weird.
