No, Wendell gives specific patterns for specific foods. Here's the list... although he doesn't appear to have a sand pattern. He does give out a dirt pattern that is a really good match.

If you give to wendell a black bass, he wil give you a grass pattern, a pike he give a stone paving. I hope that help u. :gyroiddance:
