First ever male kangaroo moving into my town since getting NL! So happy! I know he's got the Cranky personality but I kind of like some of the Cranky villager characters in Animal Crossing, I think secretly I like the Cranky type the most! Who else has had Walt!? Did you enjoy having him in your town? If so why? I'm interested to see what people think of him!

I actually really like Walt. At first his name made me think of Walt Disney, but when I actually saw him, I thought of this guy-
I had Rooney for a while in one of my old towns, and absolutly loved him. Really upset when he just randomly moved away. I think they should make more male kangaroos, or female lions at least...

I've honestly never had him. But my friend has him in his town. He's Australian, so he was so happy to have him move in. I visited his town on several occasions and he's actually really cool. I wouldn't mind having him in my town. But I love my cranky too much.
I've had Walt in my town as a starter and still have him, he is possibly my favorite villager, I bonded with him at the start of the game and even though he is a grump, he's always been nice to me, and I like to think we have something special. I think he has a tough shell, but a soft fuzzy inside. :3

I like Walt, and I know my brother absolutely adored him while he had him in his town. He was actually quite upset when Walt left after taking a break from the game. And he has a cool Japanese/Zen themed house! Also love that he always has his eyes closed; puts a bit of mystery to him.

In the beginning he seemed very grumpy, but we're friends now He always has the most ridiculous requests... that fish you've only ever caught once? Or a beetle you only see on the island if you're lucky! But he writes lovely letters now we're friends and I'm always happy to see him around town

Congrats on getting a villager you are excited about that is not tier 1 or 2! xD Not enough people appreciate the 'unpopular' villagers. A while ago when I accidentally TTed someone out (I forget who) I looked through the list of available villagers on ACNL online and fell in love with Marcie! She is a pink kangaroo with a little baby in her pouch c: She is seriously so adorable. She is never leaving!
The only other kangaroo villager I have had that I semi-liked was probably Kitt. so I know I am going to keep Walt around for a long time hopefully

actually he's not a favorite but I quite like the scar is his face and cranky is my favorite villager personality. also grey is one of my favorite colors if you could count it as a color
