Wait , Rumors about Julian Moving ?!?

So , when I was on my non-mayor account , BlueBear introduced herself to me . After that , I talked to her again and she said that Julian is thinking about moving . I was afraid because Julian is my top five fav villagers and he's an all time dreamie of mine .

So when I talked to Julian , he never pinged me or anything , talked to him a few times and nothing about moving !

How can I stop him from thinking about moving or how can I make him ping so he can bring up about moving and I can reject it ?

there's also a trick. dig holes around all of the villagers that are outside so that they can't move. then go sit in the ocean for a bit(idr how long) get out. go find julian. if he pings you, close up a hole and talk to him

yeah you could pwp trick too

but you don't have to close up the hole to talk to the trapped villager


also, for future reference, the villager that's planning on moving will never bring it up via normal dialogue

only the other villagers will bring it up, and just as a rumor

This happened to me recently with one of the villagers I like best and I was freaking out.

What I did was to save and quit. Then, I used set my 3DS calendar a month ahead and started the game as a new character. I checked the map and quit without saving. After that, I set the 3DS calendar back to normal and loaded the game as my mayor. That villager ended up pinging me on my first try, but if that doesn't work, just talk to that villager a few times, save, and reload. They'll ping you eventually so you just have to be patient. I don't know why, but time travelling ahead as a new character forces them to ping you.
