"Nicalis has announced they?re bringing VVVVVV to the eShop. VVVVVV is a 2D action-platformer in which you play as Captain Viridian who is trying to save a dimension in danger, along with the crew of his ship. The 3DS version of the game will include six levels with open-world environments and full 3D graphics. Nicalis promises new features, levels and future content updates."

This, I might actually get.

I'll definitely download this when it comes out. I've heard nothing but good things about the game. I'm also excited for NightSky, which Nicalis is also publishing for the 3DS eShop this year. And I still need to get around to buying Cave Story+ on the Mac App Store...

you could have gotten it reeeeally cheap as a part of the third humble indie bundle. it's on mac, too.

order a SNES USB controller or something, and you'll be good.

it'll probably be a "pay more than this and you get past bundle" thing, so keep yourself posted. http://humblebundle.com/

also, it's like $5 on PC. srsly.

i guess this should have been expected since there was an update changing the game's coding recently from flash to c++ or something.

point is, it's a good, cheap game on the PC. not to say it won't be worth it on the 3ds, but at $40.. i don't think so, tim.

Uh, it's not gonna be $40 on the 3DS. For one, not all retail 3DS games that come out are $40. For example, Tetris: Axis is only $30 (and it's awesome). And secondly, VVVVVV isn't going to be a retail game, it's going to be a downloadable game on the eShop. I highly doubt it will cost more than $10, if that. I'd guess somewhere around $5-8.

Anyways, I know I can get it cheap for PC. I just haven't been interested enough in it to buy it for PC. Besides, I like to avoid PC gaming if I can. But now that this highly rated game will be available on a portable system and in 3D, and published by one of my favorite publishers, I can't avoid it anymore, lol.

my bad, i missed the eshop thing.

also, looking forward to picking up tetris. even though it's just tetris, again.

Cannot recommend VVVVVV enough, I love this game. It has great music, it's challenging.
Not sure how the 3D side of things will change it, probably wont I'm just used to it being flat.

Tetris: Axis is awesome. It doesn't quite have as much charm as Tetris DS, but it's still a great Tetris game. 8-player Download Play and online play is awesome!! A lot of the other modes are really fun, too.
