Does anyone have this game?

I picked it up after I returned BioShock (yeah, thats right...it was WAY too sick for my taste), and had my doubts at first. Obviously, it looks like a kids game. But I love Rare, and I heard it won an award or something, so I bought it.

It's really not too bad...and...quite...addicting...

I hated the demo, and BioShock kicks it's *CEN-1.0-SORD* handily, even though they are two completely different games.

But I've always been a bit of a woos when it comes to horror-ish things.

I bought BioShock knowing it was gonna' be creepy...but it just went overboard in my eyes.

Like, for example, at the beggining of the game, theres a part where you look below and see a little sister next to a bloody corpse. The little sister is holding a knife or some sort of giant needle, and you can hear her scraping the dead guy's head or something.

And then theres the whole idea of beating bloody, torn up, drug-addicted psycho's with a wrench...

The game was really just too dark and twisted for my taste.

You probably shouldn't play F.E.A.R. then, it's much more dark than BioShock.

I don't like horror films, but somehow video games that freak me out, or try to, are much more entertaining.

I have it but haven't played it recently. I will pick it back up one day and beat it (I'm like level 30 and have the full size garden. I actually don't really want to play because the more levels I get up now the worse things can get. >.>)

First time I played GTA, that was my reaction. Later on I was like "OMG, I blew up 3 cars and killed 7 peds with one rocket! Awesome"

I guess its your gut reaction saying that to your senses.

Gengar, I totally see what you mean about Bioshock. I watched a few videos of it recently, and... I was just disgusted. One thing that almost literally made me throw up was the way the main character used abilities, or something...

With the needle... I haven't ever told anyone, but I have on weakness/phobia, and that's... exposing a part of my arm, believe it or not, the same exact part where the main character in Bioshock inserts the needle. I've got some... bad memories associated with exposing that part of my arm. Let's just say... my hand hurt for a LONG time after a blood test a long time ago. Ugh...

Jumping in from the sidelines a bit here, but yeah...I didn't think he was.

Yes, the BioShock needle-thing was also part of the twisted-ness, Bul. The creepy part is though...that's nothing compared to some of the other stuff that goes on in that game. O.O

But I do like the storyline, not gonna' lie. I had friends tell me about it and things...very interesting.

But yeah, BioShock never really bothered me, but I can definitely understand where you guys are coming from. I remember back when I was 4 or 5 playing gauntlet 2 for the NES, the music used to scare me, let alone the dying noises the monsters made :no:
