Alrighty, I'm going to be doing a sort of "live-review" of your town, meaning I'm in it right now as I type this up.
First thing I notice is the beautiful grass and tiles that you have along your plaza, and the little goodies too! I think that looks quite pleasant especially since it's not obnoxiously filled with flower grass patterns. Sadly I can't hold all the goodies at once, but a lot of them are ones that'll disappear after use so it works out~ ALSO THANK YOU FOR THE CLOTHES I LOVE DA'S THAT GIVE YOU CLOTHES. Something I'll do in mine when I'm ready
I can definitely tell you're a rose/carnation fan, and rightfully so! They all look very gorgeous in your town. I also love your pathing style - mixing in tile paths with fake grass paths? It's the perfect mixture of a natural looking town and a more modern looking town. The bloomed hibiscus bushes also compliment everything really well, and your use of trees against the paths is comforting. Oh! And your little tile paths are able to take advantage of that stupid extra space in front of a villager's house where you can't place anything. Also I just got bit by a mosquito. -385 points.
Ahhhh the little illuminated heart in front of the picnic blanket is adorable! Placing the fountain in front of the station stones and the flower arch in front of the fountain w/matching flowers was a marvelous choice as well. The bamboo section at the top right hand corner is really nice as well. I'm so lost as to what to do with my bamboo or where to place it. Also, bit by another mosquito. -4952 points
The bushes make the paths a liiittle bit too restricted for my tastes, BUT it's not nearly as bad as some other DA's I've visited, ones where I literally couldn't escape the path no matter what. Yours are tame in comparison and they compliment the feel of your town well. (It was also cute how the water fountain thingy put water right on top of the roses in front of it~)
Annnd for interiors. Let's start with Emalee:
There's immediately a really calm feeling in the first room, though my inner perfectionist turned the second lamp on immediately. I can see why you only have one on though, it's so briiight. Very simple, yet soothing room. The picture of flurry matches the white theme well! For the left side room, you have really beautifully customized chairs and tables, and your kitchen is set up in a really great way as well! Taking a screenshot for my own kitchen inspiration since I need some of that. Middle room, similar feel to the first room but with a bit more stuff inside of it. Really liking the little artist section you have going on. It's really unique how you added the Mona Lisa and paint set there and the screens and everything. The clothes and cat toy are really cute too! Right side room, same relaxation feel mixed with different colors and a study type of theme. Good use of the lost items and mannequin! The fireplace too just makes it all the better~ Upstairs, very pink and fluffy. Aki approved. The laptop with the coffee next to it and book is really cool in a way. Everything in the room just goes so well. Basement, feels like a very high-quality washroom! Or a nice mini-spa, either way, it's working well my friend.
Annnd for the home of Iris:
I love the overall soothing feeling both your town and your homes give off, and the first room for Iris is no different. I love the color palette you went for and just how "homey" it feels. Your left side room is very different, and in a good way! You have a really great garden set up going on here, and that's not something I see often. Amazing usage of things like the saplings and starts. The entire room just gives off a great Greenhouse feel to it. That's not something I see everyday. The middle room has this comforting "living room" type feel to it, though maybe a better word for it would be "casual." I'm personally not a fan though of the patchwork series, but that's just me. It kinda feels like a mini-movie theater~ For the right side room, you have another cute cafe going on which is also going to be screencapped in reference for my future kitchen and the pink customized furniture actually compliments the more plainer white colors very well! Upstairs is pretty different than all the other rooms. Lots of instruments and more of a sloppy (pun totally intended) feel to it. I don't dislike it, don't get me wrong, it just had quite the contrast to the other rooms in the house. That's not necessarily bad either though considering you don't want things to get TOO stale, I was just pretty used to the soothing feeling going on here. Annnd the basement, loving your use of the mermaid set here! It doesn't look too plain since you didn't JUST use things from that set, and as a personal fan of the cotton candy look, having this set here gets my approval 100%.
Yeesh, this got long. Sorry about that.
Anyways, here's my town. Do note that it's really incomplete, including the interiors of pretty much every room. I know there's a sloppy bamboo/mushroom section going on but I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I even want from that. I don't even know if I want to stick to the cotton candy theme anymore... I'm lost lol
