Violets and future flowers

I don't understand why they decided to drop them for NH.

They didn't have a lot of color variations tbh, but we have the same situation as mums or windflowers. My guess is that they felt we had too many flowers already.

Do you guys think that the removed flowers will return?

So far we have violets, carnations, dandelions, and I guess the rafflesia. I particularly liked the dandelions in New Leaf.

I doubt dandelions and the rafflesia would ever return with how weeds function now.

i mean, the summer weeds once fully grown has a part to them that looks like a dandelion but unfortunately that’s about it for them. i’m not sure about the possibility of removed flowers returning but maybe if leif ever becomes a permanent npc on the island and has his own shop/gardening section in nook’s cranny again, maybe that could be a way to bring back old flowers and maybe even new ones? :0

I would really like to see violets and carnations return with the addition of new ones like daffodils. It'd also be nice to have outdoor plants other than shrubs and flowers. Aloe, hostas, elephant ears, etc.

i also miss some older flowers, tho specifically dandelions and carnations. it just isnt the same without my lil wispy flower to decorate with. hopefully they'll be added back, but i wouldnt rly hold my breath on that.

I'd love to see violets return, they're so cute. I don't see carnations or dandelions returning, although I wish they would. The weeds look a bit like dandelions and I feel like mums are meant to replace carnations. I love the flowers we have, but more flowers is always better, right?

I do really wish we could still pick the lily of the valley! I want to wear one in my hair >.<

The flowers have been my favorite aspect of the game--figuring out how to grow different hybrids, then patiently waiting for RNG to give me the color, then figuring out how to display them.

I'd honestly ask for more COLORS before I wished for more BREEDS of flowers. I wish we had some softer blues and lavenders, a couple more greens, or even some multi-colored flowers, like real-life orchids or and roses can be. The graphics are good enough.

Oh man now I'm fantasizing about a whole orchid MECHANIC where you get a baby orchid and spend a month babying it until it sprouts a single glorious flower. They can be so finicky. Though a lot of orchids grow on trees--wouldn't it be awesome if you could plant an orchid on a tree and make it climb around the trunk and bloom? Probably impossible but I sure would love it.

I feel like they could’ve just added more colors to the violets? But not every flower has to have so many variations either! I miss the dandelions and making wishes on them, they also looked nice because they gave a nice natural feel to towns that were going for that. Although I like the weeds in this game and how they change with the season, they most definitely add to the natural feel lol

I like the flowers we have now in the game, and although I loved the violets in NL, I don't really mind if they do not return in NH. I think we have a nice variety of flowers already, but I would not be opposed if there are more added in a future update!

I don't really remember these flowers to be honest but of course that could be a good idea! A lot of flowers are beautiful in real life, so we maybe need them! Dandelions could be fun if we can interact, I want to see sunflower (fields of sunflowers... omg), and why not lavender?

But sunflowers are my priority. Please!

Sunflowers would be cool. They could grow as tall as the bamboo shoots!
