Villagers you wish would return to NH?

Wolf Link is smug actually but that’s just another reason why I’m sad he’s gone! It was interesting to see a character like him be a smug and he was one of only 2 smug wolves

Pretty much all the islanders that havent returned yet being: Elina, Faith, Flash (want!), Flossie, Fruitie, Koharu, Lulu Madame Rosa, Masa, Patricia, Pigleg, Pironkon, Verdun and Yodel.
Come on! This is the perfect opportunity to bring them all back!

Ok, I know this is not a villager, but I NEED that creature on my island, like please since it has not role as a NPC anymore, it has to be made into a villager ! That chihuahua-like thingy is absolutely amazing haha, I didn't know I needed it until I found out about its existence this afternoon.

Long shot, but Koharu! She's the only Kangaroo design I've ever liked and I'd love to see her in modern graphics. Too bad she was only in E+..

All of the Sanrio collab villagers & their items (I spent $50 on their Japanese cards on Ebay...lol) and Carmen

I would love to have a pink mouse on my island that isn't Candi or Penelope. More than likely she'd get herself a new name, which is fine, I just have always loved her design and was sad she was never in anything after Gamecube.

I really like Woolio and think he would be cute alongside Pietro. Etoile is absolutely adorable as well.

Actually, I wonder why so many villagers didn't make it past the original Animal Crossing games. I could somewhat understand the Sanrio and crossover characters not being included (for the sake of argument, at least) but what's stopping them from including original villagers?

I think it'd be cool if they did an update like the Welcome Amiibo one they did in NL. They can release a new set of Amiibo cards which would include the new villagers from New Horizons alongside more missing villagers that have been cut after the GCN releases.

To me this seems like a no-brainer. A new Amiibo card set with just the few new villagers from NH would be tiny, but if you combine it with missing villagers from the GCN games you can get a set the size of the previous ones.

New Leaf was my first Animal Crossing game but from what I've seen Meow and Bow look really cool.
I also think Pierre is like a cat version of Pietro and it would be cool to have him.
I am hoping for more villagers to be added à la the Animal Crossing New Leaf Welcome Amiibo update where some oldies could be brought back in addition to some new species as well.
I'm also hoping for the Sanrio villagers since I've got all their cards. I have a feeling they will be back because of the posters which insinuates that there's a collar between Sanrio and Nintendo still - but I wonder if they could be hidden behind some DLC add-on or something.
