Villagers you wish returned in the update

I got kind of lucky if i'm honest, the villagers that I had really had an interest in/wanted to come back have returned in the welcome amiibo, which were Candi, June, Piper and Tasha. Although apart from those, some villagers that I liked but not as much as those four but I hoped would have a possibility of returning are Meow and Bow. Those two make the perfect pair and they're bound to have a huge following and I know a lot of people would have liked them, although I do think Nintendo still did a good job with selecting who would return.

If they do release a series two, I don't think they'll have too many villagers to worry about. There are only 22 GC villagers that didn't return, I think. And I don't think a lot of villagers were removed from the other games. Off the top of my head, the only other villager I can think of is that one monkey that looks just like Porter...

Billy did return. But this thread is about villagers that didn't make it in the update. Aziz and Penny didn't. Sorry for the confusion.
