Villagers you regret skipping over?

I skipped over Colton on a night where I spent 34k on Nook Miles tickets. I wasn't sure if I regretted it or not, but I got Butch, who I adore. My next time out, I ran into Colton fairy early on and I decided that I was being way too picky by not inviting him the first time. So now he's a resident on my island!

I've skipped over a lot of adorable villagers during a search for Judy for my best friend, including Fauna, Diana, Marina, Erik, Zucker, Bob, etc., but the only that made me regret not inviting is Dizzy. I remembered looking at him for a while and debating wherever to invite him and continue the search another day but I was that determined to help my best friend with her dream villager. Looking back on it, I should've gone with my gut and get him on that day. ^^'

Funny enough though - I got Vivian and Freya back to back on my island tours, but I skipped over them both.

The ones I kind of regret skipping over (so far) are Timbra, Sly, and Sterling.

Timbra: I skipped her because I didn't bother to check her personality (Snooty) and assumed she was a Peppy villager due to her dialog on the island when I found her.
Sly and Sterling: I skipped them because I already have two jocks (Scoot, one of my initial 2 villagers, and Roald who I was moving in via amiibo) and I've already had Sterling during my time in New Leaf. Normally I wouldn't mind having a town full of jocks and their bulging muscles, but my current goal is to new have villagers that I like (and haven't had before) with different personalities.

Considering the current glitches, I'd rather not be inviting villagers from other islands at the moment. I don't really HATE Zucker, he's not that bad. I'm just not really a fan of his design. He'll move when he moves.

Chief. He's not a dream villager of mine, but man the game has been really stingy with crankies for me. I've never even had a cranky, yet the game keeps throwing jocks at me on island tours.

omg same for me with Dobie! He was super sweet but I couldn't make a decision and by the time I decided I wanted him it was the next day in game

I skipped over Julia twice.. mostly because at first her eyes kinda creeped me out and then the second time because I already have Flora, but now I wish I had her because Humphrey just randomly moved in and looking at her design more I really like it.
Hopefully I’ll see her again sometime :/

I didn't know you could search for villagers 3-5. I definitely wouldn't have chosen Cheri if I'd known that.
Also, I skipped over Ellie on a NMT and I wish I had gotten her. She's so cute!

None so far, but i have a few that i wish i skipped over! I invited stu and Sprinkle as my first island invites and i regret it. I love Sprinkle and i have her in my NL town, but i decided in the start that i dont want my villagers to be all the same as NL, i want to try new ones since there are so many. Now i am hoping for her to leave so i can have new faces.

Sorry, Sprinkle! You are still my buddy and i will be seeing you in NL so please leave XD

My friend invited her once she was in boxes so I still see her, but she tells me she writes poetry about her time on my island and I feel so bad!
