Villagers you regret skipping over?

I ran into Dobie and had a laugh with my chat about how funny his concept is as the "old man" villager, but passed over him because I wanted someone cuter. Ran into him a 2nd time a few islands later, and passed again. Now I wish I'd taken it as a sign and invited him to my island, I think he'd be fun to have :'I

Anyone else wish they'd settled for a villager they passed over?

(God, I wish you could invite more than one villager at a time and just have them queue up for the next empty slot)

Can you not? Like I invited Bianca on a sell plot and so if I get more plot from Nook, I still can't invite villagers on mystery island? Its only once a day?

Hornsby when I was getting villagers 3-5. I was stuck with Patty and Al in the end.

For the first 3 plots that you make all at once and have to craft furniture for, you can invite all 3 in one day. But after you move your first camper in and start building and filling the last 4 plots, you can only invite one villager a day, no matter how many plots you build. After you invite the first one, no more will show up

Thank you that answer my question! Yeah I'm on my 7th villager (Bianca). So it better just to build one plot per day so random don't move in. I get why they did it, to make something exciting happen everyday. Save me from making a thread!

Judy... I think I was looking for a male villager instead since the balance in my town was 5 females to 2 males. If I had known how popular she was, I probably would have taken her.

I found Drago on an island, but decided to skip because he was not a Dreamie or Grumpy. I did not find anyone better...

I'm happy overall with how my village ended up shaping up. Kind of wish I had brought in Whitney when I came across her on the island but I was looking for new villagers--I found them but now I keep thinking about how I'd like to bring in Whitney and have three snooties lol. Whitney is seriously so pretty and her design looks wonderful in New Horizons. I also saw Kidd a couple of times and his design was so cute. I really ended up kinda of regretting not inviting him.

Sorta regret passing over Ike :[ I mistook him for Grizzly on an island (he was facing away from me and it was night time Lol) and was really disappointed but I've since seen what Grizzly looks like in NH and he doesn't look as good with the new bear design and I'm kinda feeling like I want Ike instead now. If I see him again I'll invite him.

It’s so awful when you meet a cool villager, but are actually searching for someone else. I got one really bad random move in villagers 3-5 (Truffles) and Ellie (who’s ok), so now I‘m kind of scared to pass on any villager like. Got really lucky yesterday and today. Got Merengue and Punchy on the first islands I visited. Am actually looking for a snooty or cranky tho, but have two plots left.

Gonna try for either Diana, Whitney or Freya as my snooty. Hopefully I’ll find them before I find any other villager I like, my town does need more variety!

Back when I was looking for villagers 3-5 I regretted not inviting Cheri. I just decided against it because she didn’t seem to fit in with the other Islanders—and the ones I had in mind—even though I think she’s really cute.

After that I only got bad options, and was ready to just accept whoever I saw on my last tour. It ended up being Flora though, so aside from the wasted tickets, I suppose it was worth it in the end?

I skipped over Merengue. Super regret, and now my town is totally full and nobody seems to want to leave, so I can’t try my luck anymore (can’t afford her card).

Deirdre..... her mouth coloring was throwing me off, I kept envisioning her with buckteeth and it was ruining it all for me. :/ I think I spent five minutes on that island just deciding whether to be shallow or not.

Still kinda wish I was not so shallow, haha. I want a deer friend!
