Villagers you can't escape

So...I've reset my game about four times now, mostly because I'm a sick, sick individual who can't be satisfied with what she has.

But I digress.

Does anyone have villagers who end up in every darn town they start? Every time I've reset my game, Diva pops up either as the starting villager or within the first week. And from experience, I know she'll stay until the bitter end.

Anyone else have this problem?

No, but i have my own unsubstantiated, wild theory about villagers. I think there are a handful of "versions" of the game created. If you follow villager auctions, you start seeing patterns. For example, if theres one hamphrey up for auction, many more will pop up, then its hard to find hamphreys for a while. You will see cyclers give away marshal.., then a few weeks later they are surprised to see marshal move in again.

You might have a version thats prone to give you diva.

Of course, it might just be me starting to get goofy because its late at night for me, ha, ha.

Ehhk? This is new to me. Somehow I keep getting rabbit villagers from campsite. O'hare appeared twice, but I'm not a fan of him.

On one hand I could believe there are different versions of the game, in other words, the games that are sold now are different from the ones that were sold at the release. I've encountered several villagers from my own town in the towns of friends whom also bought their game at the same time I did.

But on the other hand it's also possible that the game contains several scenarios of villagers and furniture types and that some scenarios are more common or more rare, like trading card packs. Many will carry the same cards with a few different ones that are considered more rare. I also noticed this when I was resetting my town for a decent layout. I've seen several identical layouts, involving the river's path and the beach, but with different placements of buildings.

Try changing your date by some months and reset again?

Oh my god, in the bajillion times I reset she was there 70% of the time. I know a lot of people will be jealous as she is very popular, and I am not complaining because I have a lot of WW memories with her, but this theory up there is making sense to me right now. She's in my town still, and for the person up there who has Bubbles: I've never even seen Bubbles! I don't even know what Bubbles looks like!
